How is this “fair and balanced”??? our tank just fed on cooldown and Expected the supports to somehow keep him alive despite constantly being outside of our line of sight? We tried to tell him but he refused to listen and just kept feeding. AND THIS IS HOW ALL OF MY GAMES HAVE BEEN GOING. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE FIX THE MATCHMAKER, IT IS SO AWFUL. IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE ANY GOOD GAMES THESE DAYS IT IS SO FRUSTERATING. Like majority of my games this season have had some form of deadweight that the team has been forced to carry while the enemy team just doesn’t, meaning that we almost always lose. The games feel so unfair and unfun.
it just blows my mind that games this awful are the new normal and I am so sick of it. Something NEEDS to be done. If you look at the forums it is one of the most reoccurring topics as of late. As much as I want to love this game, the matchmaker and the constant imbalance of the teams really kills the experience for me in such a negative way. I cannot go a session of gaming without getting tilted out of my mind because I am forced to put up with players that just cannot play at the level required. It makes games Exponentially harder than they need to be to the point where a lot of games are just unwinnable because the teammates straight up lack the skill or gamesense or general game knowledge or whatever making things completely fall apart right from the start. Something REALLY needs to change. There is no reason for almost every game these days to be so horribly one-sided, and I am so sick of putting up with it.

I bet the recent hitbox changes give people the wrong MMR for the game. Just landing shots is such a low requirement to play this game at a decent rank but now since everyone can the game has no idea where to place anyone. So many still haven’t learned to play cover and let the dps passive get off them so they can be healed. Even in diamond people just run it down main and yell for heals.
Did you even watch your own replay? yall ALL made mistakes, it was just a team diff; literally all 5 of you had moments where yall moved into bad positions & “fed”, & even wasted ults like you did in the last fight and mccree blatantly making his ult obvious with nothing going on as a distraction for him to get ANYONE. You also played a garbage support (illari, and your zen pick was questionable too) and didnt even pay enough attention to what your tank was doing both rounds - you just ignored him at times. Do me a favor and start actually watching your own replays and what all of your teammates do including you.
this is why 6v6 needs to come back because too much emphasis is put on the tank for the teams screw ups, its so easy to point the finger at the single big solo target and use that 1 player as a scapegoat to blame & cope

Match maker can do nothing to help you when you position badly, or fail to take the high ground. For example.
it was hot trash even before that update bud. the matchmaker is legit the worst thing about the game.

100000000%, so unplayable in QP anyways, you spend 15-20 dodging PUSH/Flashpoint and koth that comes up effin constantly… to only finally get a decent map only to get a trash matchmade game. do that a few times and alt+F4, not worth the time unless you like FFA while waiting inbetween trash modes and maps. so bad.
The match making feels just as unbalanced as it did Before they implemented rank restrictions back when it first came out. But the other issue now is that, hacks have evolved so much since the game came out that some are really hard to detect.
However, they do detect them at some points as a couple weeks back one of my matches ended as we got a Message that cheating was detected an it automatically cancelled the match and we were told that our SR was not impacted.
So I give up… the game isn’t fair. You can go all the way down to sliver and players play like they are in Diamond. Back in the day SIlver/gold/plat players were not as good as they are now, and I highly doubt that spinach is the reason why players are better now than they were in the past.

It may seem that way. Today, my team got stomped hard in the first round of escort. I did well, but I switched to Pharah and our tank and support swapped too. Then we annihilated them. My other DPS who underperformed matched my damage/elims and we did double the damage/elims of the enemy team! We went 6-5. Our tank wasn’t good and our support underperformed. However, the swaps made changed everything.
Agreed it was humans who designed the matchmaker and rigged it for their own self interests and greed

As much as i agree ppl can be stupid but lets not use that to say the matchmaker is anything but terrible. Golds should play with golds plat should play with plats. Not hey im gold why is there a top 500 in my game happened twice yesterday.

The matchmaker is designed to do one thing and one thing only - ensure a completely lop-sided match. Zero kills on one team, instant win on the other. Every. Single. Game.
