The assumption was that it was OWL content, not general emotes that could easily fit with a summer theme. Wait… Is there a summer event in Overwatch? Hmm… I wonder why people feel entitled to that summer emote?
No, I am not upset because I want one part of it. I spent over one thousand dollars on this game and do not play Lucio. Nice attempt at the straw-man though.
The reason people are calling it a $30 dollar emote is because it is the only decent content in the pass and therefore the only reason they would purchase it. The other stuff does not matter and you can stop pretending that you know what other people care about when they blatantly tell you that you are wrong.
that’s their opinion considering the large amount of things you get outside of the emote the value is there. You not wanting to use everything in it, doesn’t meant the pass doesn’t have value. Its not $30 for an emote. You just see it that way cause that’s what you want.
to say that access to AMA’s with pros, ad free viewing for 12 months, command center access (worth the $30 dollars alone for OWL fans) 15 OWL skins and exclusive game day pre shows is not value is because you don’t like OWL. But to those of us who do? its an insane deal seeing that the 12 months ad free viewing alone is usually $60 from twitch.

I have never whined about vanity items. when they dropped the mercy skin I didn’t care. when they announced the exclusive OWL skins for pass holders I didn’t care. I bought the pass because I like OWL the others are just icing on the cake.
