The INTERACT key is unbound

The INTERACT key is unbound. Please bind this key so you can use Symmetra’s Teleporter.

This randomly popped up while i was looking at my highlights even though i have interact bound to a button for every character.

Edit: it happened on ps4.

it’s happening to everyone regardless of platform. You need to have it set to use sym.

Same issue, and yes, F is bound by default. The message pops every time when I selecting highlights.

Yep, I have that exact message here too. Whenever I replay a game.

Same thing here, on pc when starting a highlight. After that the message remains in the chat. It’s not annoying or game-breaking, but it is most likely a bug.

It’s a bug. I get it every time I try to save a highlight. After that my game crashes.

My Interact key is still bound to F on PC but it doesn’t seam to function anymore after the Symmetra changes.
I feel like there should be a way to deploy the teleporter with E and then still use F to interact in that case without using the acknowledge function.

Hopefully they figure something out because I can’t remind people to get on the dang playload/point until then! XD

I have reviewed all my hero’s profiles. The key is bound in all of them, and I still get this message (PC)

Go “Controls” and use “Restore Defaults” and fix this problem.

The issue I’m having is I’ve bound the interact key, and every time it tells me i need to bind an inteact key, rather than using the teleport. broken.

Had the same problem(xbox) what it was is that I had binded pushing my left stick in for ultimate status and when they updated her rework into the game that was the button required to use the teleporter just look at your contronls so if you’ve binded controls that may be your problem, hope this helps.

Same problem here, on PC - 7/16/18 when viewing a POTG. I do have an interact key set (default I think, mapped to “F”). Didn’t crash game or cause any other issues, but thought it was odd.

I had this problem on PC when watching highlights, I managed to fix it by going into ‘Options’ - ‘Controls’ and remapping the interact key, - basicaly I clicked on the ‘F’ and chose ‘F’ it said I had removed a bound key and I had bound a key, (something). but it no longer comes with the message when I view my highlights.

TLDR:
Re-bind the ‘F’ key to interact.
