The game loses a lot of it's depth in 1-3-2

Just what the title says, the game becomes less in-depth and really not that great imo.

A lot of supports are not really playable while tanking feels very weird and lonely.

That’s odd. It has literally changed the depth, speed, excitement and mobility of the entire fight in a game for me.

I should clarify i meant tank and support, the damage experience is improved, but the depth of the game is really dummed down

tank feels great, who wouldnt want to play immortal boulder that owns everyone if he enters the room, on the other hand, supports and half the dps rooster feels horrible to play.

That’s because of your skill level. The tanks when people consistently land their shots have good teamplay and position well, you’re not going to be doing much because defending your team becomes more important, and when that is important, you can’t really do any damage because you need to be shield up.

Basically just turns into a shootout rather than a game of teamwork.

Why communicate with your team when you can press M1 and get that sweet PoTG?

Yeah, I could see that. With the tank synergy gone, that’s less teamwork, and with less tanking in general the DPS are free to just headshot each other at leisure. So the fight will go to the best mechanics and it’s always going to be either hitscan or mobility heroes.

2/2/2 is defintely more dumbed down. IDK where you’re getting this. You’re seeing a lack of synergy because it’s basically the PTR and the fact it’s a new way of composing a team so new combos and synergies have to be discovered.

Sir, my match had an average of 4300 sr and was between my tier 3 team and a contenders team. I have the right to say the game is dummed down to all hell i think

That’s exactly what i think would happens if the 1-3-2 was in a competitive gamemode. The tank would get hard focused, as it’s the highest value target.

The sole fact that snipers exists mean you are obligated to use a shield tanks.

If they’d want it to work, tanks would need even largers buff, some supports would need buffs, Snipers and CC would need a nerf.

My guess is that 1-3-2 works at lower ranks, as there is 0 coordination. But doesn’t at higher ranks, where there is much more focus fire and better individual skill.

Your SR is completely irrelevant to your ability to grasp the big picture and think outside the box. You think it’s dumbed down, 2/2/2 is definitely more dumbed down, where it’s the only FPS I know of where people don’t play angles and just stand in the middle of rooms like ducks.

Have you played 1-3-2?

In coordinated play it feels like a quickplay match, that’s how bad it is, it turns the game into a clown fiesta, also, your FPS argument doesn’t really work when you DO play more angles in higher ranks

See this is where it’s clear you’re blowing hot air. You’ve actually not presented any examples and can only really justify your argument with rank.

You haven’t played in a coordinated setting because you can’t make custom games with experimental. You’re still literally playing on a PTR card.

This isn’t a MMO, the tank’s most basic job is to create space, not taking “aggro” on mob packs. Instead of having use skill to create that space, you now just do so by being a punching bag, i’m sure tanks players will love it. Whoever kill the punching ball the fastest wins.

This isn’t CS:GO, killing stuff alone and hiding behind corners won’t win you the game. Beside, i see everyone using corners to peak, even tanks, but when you need to push, you can’t just “hide behind corners”.

Beside, you want to turn the game into a “who can kill the big rein in the corridor the fastest”.

MMR is a thing. Even in QP, higher MMR games tend to be more coordinated.

There’s literally no thought into just picking a burst DPS hero, and going pew pew pew all game until one team wins or loses

And the ONLY thought is do I run Sombra or Doomfist, or even both and that removes ANY thought

Hidden MMR isn’t being used in experimental to make queue times faster. Just like PTR. I matched against Emongg on this account and I’m pretty sure it’s plat.

Really? How do you stay alive as the dps without a big blue barrier to protect your auto-piloting tendencies? The game definitely requires more thought to stay alive. There’s no argument there. Less barriers is the healthiest direction the game can go.
