I have been playing this game a long time and its current state and meta is simply unfun and frustrating.
You are not picking characters to your enjoyment or strengths, its to either fill a gap in utility or to counter the opposing team.
You spend a majority of the game under some sort of debuff, stun, blind, knockback or other effect. You are constantly being crowd controlled with very little you can do to outplay it. You need a Kiri and that just locks one hero in per match. Its entirely lame.
Tanking is the absolute worst its ever been. Its entirely frustrating and absolutely ruins the experience of playing the game. Few things ever in computer game history have just brought such horror and despair than when i inevitably get tank on every single all queue because no one else wants to touch this travesty of a role. You have made this an MMO role, you are not picking the class you want to play you are entirely responsible for countering their tank. If you do not you will lose. You as a tank player are expected to be at least average at a handful of tanks to be reasonable in this role and not hold your team back. This is unacceptable, you cannot have a role in which you want players have so much of a learning curve. You need to do something to limit all of the cc/debuffs ect on the tanks, they need to all have a stun break or a cleanse, or you need to rethink how you handle crowd control in this game.
You gota reverse course on this or add cleanses to every healer. Why Mercy hasn’t been reworked to include a cleanse after x amount of healing is beyond me. You balance your game around status effects and you have 1 tank, a couple dps, and 1 healer that can do anything about it . This is just an incredible oversight and something that is actively ruining your game.
