After this update, the game is not starting. The Overwatch.exe process is open in the task manager but the game does not start.
Am I the only one experiencing this issue?

i even try to uninstall/install the game and nothing have changed
Same. Game crashes upon opening.
If you do nothing and wait 3-5min, it often opens on its own â but it only seems to do this if I donât tab out and do something else. Iâve been having this problem for 3-ish weeks, including today. Try restarting your PC, and if it still isnât fixed, just hit the Play button and walk away for a bit and see if it works. Not a permanent solution, but itâs what worked for me.

Just started happening to me today after downloading the season 4 update. Freezes on login. One time I got through and search a game. When it found the game it froze there too. Probably just a bug they will correct soon.
Same. Overwatch.exe process up, doing absolutely nothing, using only 26.1MB of RAM according to task manager.
You were right, I waited and the game launched. Second launch after the first works is normal.
The game was killing my PC on the first launch though, so I had to restart it (and - again - second launch seems normal).

Worked for me as well, had to wait about 4 minutes.

Same exact thing. They fully broke my game with this update. Nothing works to fix it including reinstallation of game and drivers. Looks like itâs time to move on to new game as the devs havnât even acknowledged this nor will they. RIP OW2
