As i said its not even playable at least in my rank with these dumb bots.I play on ME servers in silver rank, and these days its full of AI bots.it’s not fun at all . Notice this blizzard.

They know about the bots, they implanted them. Player base is getting smaller and smaller. So they had to 2 options. Group everyone from gm - bronze or add bots.

Certainly agree with you. There are bots in the game. As the other poster said, there’s a very good chance Blizzard added these for the reasons given.

I noticed these heavily towards the end of ow1.
My theories are:
As mentioned, blizzard added these bots to keep games going to hide their diminishing player base.
Alternatively these are 3rd party bots that are just now being so noticable due to the diminishing player base.
Assuming the great number of bots exists, why would we think Blizz is planting bots in low elos? TF2 has the same problem on a much bigger scale and that isn’t because Valve is coping.
They added BOTS in competitive? You’re joking right?

I wouldn’t be surprised. Played with a Juno earlier who kept walking in a straight line right into a widow headshot. Went 3-8, had the most deaths on the team and they weren’t running dive. I don’t know how to work with that lol
I dunno what to say about this, but Blizzard didn’t add Juno AI to the game yet. Some bots can break the game in weird ways therefore they aren’t allowed out into the game. Dva, Ball, Pharah, Echo etc. My guess is it was just a human player throwing or a human player’s bot account. But probably not Blizzard’s bot.
I’ll stick with bot, because I like to think people are better than that lol
In low ranks you couldn’t tell the difference between a bot and a player.
Unless the bot is one of those aim bots.
Blizzard didn’t add “padding”, you just have bad teammates. It happens.
I like how everyone in this thread seems to think blizzard added bots.
No proof, just sounds right.
People are dumb sometimes, and some people play games just to play them. Not to have a second (or third) job.
If that’s irritating, start socializing and look for a duo/group that sweats as much as you want to.

No seriously they added them to rank mode;But maybe if you queue for all roles you will get better matchups with no bots in the match, based on my experience in these 1 or 2 days.

im not even a metal as i dont play comp on the account i can play on but i think ive encountered some sort of bot the player was acting strange and not really helping there team and was easily killed and they had bot in their name but also some accounts you can tell are bots just by the tag

My entire team turns into bots when it comes to control map games. Worthless throwing garbage.

they are just really, really, really, really… uhhh… not very good
i honestly would think the Casual bots in PvAI would play better than them
now it is kind of silly that these people would bother with ranked, but it is whatever sometimes
you can climb out of elo pretty fast if you are better than all the “bots” that end up on both teams

It’s been the same since 2018. The bot autoballance is so horrible. Sometimes going AFK is the only move to make my team play the game. This hasn’t been fixed in 6 years. At least they removed the ana ballance-bots deciding every single game.
