The game started to crash constantly almost immediately as I enter the match. everything is stable in the menu, but as soon as I enter the match and after less than a minute the game closes and shows a window in which a code is displayed by which you can write to Blizzard and I have to launch the game - play ten seconds of a competitive match - the game crashes and so on in a circle until the match ends
This issue has been popping up here for a long time. I’ve been struggling with this myself for the past year or so. Game will work fine for 2 months, but then this will randomly start happening then go away by itself. There is no fix and no one here will help you sadly. All you’ll get is “update drivers and windows”
i think blizzard is being hit with a new wave of DDOS attacks that are causing disconnects i already warned my friend to logout after they get their comp stuff done
Yep. Unplayable at the moment on certain servers. If you get lucky you get one that is not affected. But most times I queue I’m in a game where I can barely move out of spawn and other players are floating around and complaining in chat.
Server are borked. Would guess a DDoS against Blizz servers.
All we can hope is that they cancel all leaver penalties from today.
are things that bad right now?
Yes, they really are. I had to quit for the night after getting up to 10 min penalties because I couldn’t play the game. Couldn’t even get out of spawn and so got kicked.
i wasnt having issues on americas servers but man playing last night was anightmare even with normal ping
Hello Ziwer9! I’m sorry that you are experiencing crashes in Overwatch. Thanks for sending in your crash reports, it really helps troubleshoot what’s going on.
Your crash looks related to loading data off of disk - I’ll dig a bit more and see if I can verify that, but something you might try is reinstalling the game, and/or doing some disk checks to make sure your drive is working properly.
Thanks!
Bruce
