I know post rhat aren’t directly related to ow sometimes get deleted by mods, but I don’t know something about this games got me really enjoying it.

For 1 it’s a 4 abilitiy game, which don’t get me wrong I like Apex but whenever I play a game with less then 2 abilities on a character just sorta makes my brain go zzzzzzz.

I thought leveling up would be slow but well turns out there like these warfame esk survival modes, it’s basically just another warframe or destiny people say but I just can’t put my finger on it people seem to actually like and be drawn to this game, it’s not something that’ll just die out in a few months is what I’m saying.

It’s a game that’s like been able to grab people away from the usual OW addiction which honestly is saying a lot.

It’s definitely not as polished with the QoL stuff tho, like theres no meters telling you how far you are from the objective, it gets stuck in like these long buffers sometimes.

Not sure like what direction there gonna go in but it seems to be a really good and promising game.

It’s a good game, a little confusing (lots of information/mechanics) but a very cool game. as a game it is not a direct competitor, but indirectly competes for our time

If you look at overwatch, it is very limited as well. Many heroes at most have like 2-3 abilities and ultimate. Where the game gets complex feeling is in being able to swap up all the heroes and having instant access to various paystyles.

Many games are pretty short ability wise as well, but what keeps many of the games interesting is when you factor in a bunch of various alternative actions as well.

  • Ability2
  • Ability3
  • Ultimate
  • Passive Ability
  • Double jumps
  • Wall climbs
  • Melees
  • Grenades
  • Interactable Object
  • Pickup Object
  • Weapon Swap
  • Tagging

The thing is that many of these actions are already present in most shooters, but not all of them. That’s the challenge is finding a game which lets you do all of these things in the same game.
