Just checked twitch, minecraft has more viewers than overwatch.
Can we call the game dying yet

It’s because Greekgodx is streaming Minecraft, he is a very popular streamer that can get over/near 20k viewers each stream.

Fifa, dead by daylight, Sea of thieves, Pubg. Rest are deserved

The thing is that minecraft is a game that can literally be anything you want it to be

thats why it attracts a bigger playerbase than OW does

it can even be a FPS if you want to

Twitch viewers are irrelevant.

There are numerous games that they are mind numbingly boring to watch but very fun to play. Path of exile is a great example.

Also, what matters in twich is the streamers personality. This is also irrelevant to the games quality.

Tf2 Is a classic with a big nostlagia factor,

and something they have in common is that they embrace the community, TF2 is pretty much on life support by the community itself, they create new modes, guns etc

Considering the forums and the player base are rather active i’d say no.

Instead of wanting the game to die just play something else instead.

I agree, i’m very concerned about it too, it’s not by any means dead presently but i’m not sure if can say the same let’s say 2 years from now.

If game is not fun to watch when others play, then it dont say its going to die.
Overwatch is better to play than watch.

xQc isnt streaming , when he is he gains around 25k which will make it around top 4 on browsing.
Without xQc , yes overwatch on twitch is dead.
