…goes to show that either:
A) The Overwatch team wants this to be a p2w, cashgrab game. (Most likely)
OR
B) The balance team have NO IDEA what they’re doing and should be fired immediately.

I believe the team is on their holiday break. They’ll adjust when they’re back. After the New Year if I had to guess.
At which point they’ll nerf his spread but up his damage per bullet. Or lower his armor but raise his health leech.
The dev team is INCAPABLE of straight up nerfing a hero. They ALWAYS have to compensate some sort of nerf with a buff.
Mark my words, Mauga will be ridiculously OP until it’s time for a new hero release. At which point they will nerf Mauga, buff the new hero even harder, and lock that new hero behind a paywall.

You get the new hero at tier 40 of the battlepass so not pay to win cause it doesn’t take long.
And it’s been 4 days since the latest Mauga changes came out. Cut the dev team some slack.
He isn’t that bad even.
Support and tank players are a special combination of both stupid AND stubborn.
They are probably collecting data still and hopefully writing off games where the support and tank picks are idiotic.
For instance, I had a game where the enemy team tried to counter Mauga with …Rein… and Doomfist…
But he’s free at lv 45

And the “I don’t play much” “I don’t have time to grind” isn’t an excuse cause eventually you’ll get there

not TRUE p2w but time is more valuable than money not everyone has the time to unlock the BP bud…if it gives an advantage and you can pay for access instantly it is p2w…

Genuine question. At what point would you consider it P2W?
What if it takes 10 hours to unlock him? 100 hours? 1000? Is there a limit? Would you still consider having to play for 10,000 hours “not p2w”?

He has been nerfed but his ult is still stupidly strong with minimal counter play and lasts too long.
Pay to win at its finest.

If you had to play comp to unlock him. As for the time it takes I think level 45 is close to the acceptable maximum.
