You know what? I’m disappointed but I’ll cut them some slack. This is the first event of OW2’s launch and Blizzard struggled to get the game out by the looks of it, but if the Christmas and New Years events are bad then I’d become concerned.

I don’t think they wanted to wait any longer and to be honest they probably shouldn’t have. Interest in the franchise was at a all time low.

Im juat confused why, in a limited choice of heroes, and enemies that blow up and hurt you… you put in a hero who pulls things to her lol

And now they are actively making interest in the game lower with every passing day.
I think their main focus is 100% new players, notice how most of the skins advertised are all OW1?

I enjoyed it. The game’s mechanics are built for multiplayer not this. The coming content will be more of the same gimmick ill play once and go back to comp. Its not the witcher.
The event is 100 times better than any event in ow1 except lucioball , nothing will beat lucioball
The new part with Sombra isn’t bad granted I only done it once.
If it was to long or hard then people would hate that too.
I mean, that’s still on them. Whatever happened behinds the scenes to either delay or speed up releases of certain aspects of OW… those were their choices. I feel (admittedly feel), that there was a lack of cohesion, scandals, micromanagement and insertions that evidentally caused OW to be in the state it is currently.
Yea, it got old real fast since there are no actual rewards, and Ashe and JC are just bac choices for heroes, but MUH new heroes and skins. Only thing I will give credit to is that it is an actually new event, not another junkerstein rerun, but it is not enough
The mode is pretty much the only decent part about the event. Though for the most part its just junkenstein on rails.
Were people expecting more though?
I will say there are far less skins available. You can really tell they cut back on skin, highlight intros, and voice lines production and really increased the price at which to get the few new items.
In short, they produce less while charging more.

I mean if it was me, Id make these events AMAZING so that when I asked whatever ridiculous price theyre going to put on the PvE stuff, people would want it. But if this is a preview ROFL… I… ROFL!!!
Played it once to see what it’s like. See no reason or incentive to play it again.
The annoying thing is that even though I don’t care about the event it’s still affecting my game because it seems after patches we always get high ping … sigh
you can also get all the stuff from the challenges in 2 hours or so.
there really is no use in playing it that much tho, as its just voicelines and charms.
and as someone whos almost finished the BP, i dont think im gonna log on again until season 2. not much to play for.

It’s got more content in that level than any other story event we’ve had other than maybe archives.
