Hi I want to say some thing about endorsement, it’s really good thing like, how you play, how you behave
and I would like to suggest about “the endorsement level queue” basically the people with different endorsement level will have a chance to match together in the same team is less (Ex. people with edm lvl2 have a less chance to be queue with edm lvl1).
from my perspective people with endorsement lvl1 from overwatch 2 is most likely bad and toxic
it’s okay that there’re playing bad but when they starts trash talking, griefing bc they don’t give an f about the game, that’s really sad
the endorsement system is garbage like if your away for awhile your endorsement can decay and if you lose connection for whatever reason your endorsement can lower it doesnt even matter if its a problem on blizzard’s end…endorsement just needs to go

It only decays while you actively play in any of the PvP modes (not including custom games or VS AI).
So if you reach level 5, close the game for 2 years and then come back, you will still be level 5 because you didn’t play for 2 years. Same if you reach level 5 and then you only go play VS AI. Because VS AI is not a real mode, you won’t lose (or gain) endorsement levels there.
Yes, because you left the match. That is the system working correctly.
The endorsement system is okay, but it can definitely be better. The rewards are pathetic, the requirements to reach and maintain level 4 are insane, and you can’t even endorse your whole team. You have to pick and choose, which really sucks when everyone played really well.
No. They should never put any weight behind such a broken system like endorsements. You mainly play with friends? Lower level. You mainly play comp? Lower level. You play dps more than supports? Lower level.
Even rarely leaving games, I am frequently 1-2. Usually in a group of 2-4, rarely type anything at all in chat.
Hasn’t been cared about since 2018.
