The DPS healer crap is pure insanity

Thank god there is one thread that is not accusing every Healer that does DPS of being a “DPS main farming passes” or something lol.
Yeah some Supports tunnel vision, sometimes they dont do damage at all (which is also bad) and sometimes they dont even heal when they should.

Now Scoreboards expose Bad Players and theres Bad Players in every role!

From what I’ve seen it feels much easier to hit a headshot on Kiriko

Sry but im not babysitting you 24/7 or pocket healing you. The times are over… if you want a pocket heal play one yourself

Depends on the character. Most have several unique ways to support their team.

Ana: sleep, anti-heal, boost via ult, and heal.
Baptiste: immortality, heal, and heal amp via ult.
Brigitte: shielding, displacement, environmental kills, overhealth via ult and heals.
Lucio: speed, displacement, environmental kills, burst overhealth via ult, and heal.
Kiriko: immortality, cleanse, boost via ult.
Mercy: rez, damage boost, heals.
Moira: healing.
Zenyatta: damage boost and heal.

Not including damage as this is common to all roles, though several of the support cast can do a decent amount.

I can see that you might FEEL that way but as someone who mains Zen (and Pharah) I promise you it isn’t. I’ve been playing a few games on Kiriko every day in QP to warm up so that I can be ready when she’s available in comp, and I tell you with 100 percent honesty that Kiriko is much harder than Zen to get full value out of. And my overall accuracy with Kiriko is lower than my accuracy with Zen, which means even though I land a lot of headshots with her, I’m actually landing less overall than I do with Zen. Zen also just does far more damage overall, especially since he can also utilize volley for corner peeking and be relatively safe while doing it, whereas Kiriko has to duck in and out to corner peek and is nowhere near as good at it as Zen.

Now do I have more survivability on Kiriko if I get into a tight situation? Sure. But the issue with that is most of the time if I phase away from a flanker, I’m leaving my support partner behind to die because I can’t get back to them quick enough. In both cases (Kiriko and Zen) I feel it’s more prudent about 80 percent of the time to duel it out with the flanker (assuming I hear them coming/am aware of their presence before I start taking damage), and the other 20 percent of the time I either phase away (Kiriko) or kick them back and run for my team spamming “I need help” (Zen) lol.

Now this is just my experience playing both heroes, and I am nowhere near as experienced on Kiriko as I am Zenyatta, but that’s the case for most people right now anyway.

And once you die to Genji or sombra n everyone spams I need healing but no one wants to peel

I have a legitimate feeling that once people are 200 hours deep on Kiriko, things are gonna get incredibly scary. I’m a Genji main and I can delete a Zenyatta in like 2 seconds because of how big he is, if you take Kiriko on the other hand, she has multiple options when I engage her, let’s say that she manage to hit a headshot before I get close to her, she’s most likely gonna take the fight, if she doesn’t hit a headshot, she’ll just teleport away. She’s also a much smaller target, so it’s harder for me to land a perfect right click.

It’s quickplay. if you don’t like people playing like that then play comp. Not that this stuff doesn’t happen in comp it’s just less common.

When I was a QP warrior people would hard sweat QP. Even I would. Looking back it’s kinda ridiculous.

Anyway, there’s ways to ask for your team to do things without sounding like you’re being toxic, especially when you’re in comp.

Some game bugs are effecting comp rn though so i give you that. Kiriko will be much different once they hit players that care more about winning than they do playing whatever or however they feel. That pressure changes how people play.

A slur? Get over yourself.

you have to remember that support are made for … well supporting their team, and not for healing botting only

No no no, clearly we’re just here to make up for everyone else’s poor play

I do this with Zen.
People seem to think that Zen can heal more if he is not shooting.
He heals by looking at you, giving you an orb, and saying “good luck”. The next best thing to do is to put pressure on the enemy so he dies or hides.

I have had people complaining about me on Zen because I was spamming secondary fire instead of healing, while having the healing orb 24/7 on them.

You know if you kill stuff faster moria wont be able to dps cause everyone is dead and then can heal.

PS i usually dont heal whiners

Kiriko’s head shot damage would only make sense if characters had standardized hit models. Instead she does triple damage, and some characters (mainly Torb) have massive crit boxes. And at 120 per head shot she can two shot torb.

Zen can only heal a single target by default.

Provide the replay codes for all these apparent Moira & Zen players please

Because I know for a fact “match after match” ain’t true lol you probably get DPS only Moira once in a blue moon

people complaining “DPS Moira” prob saw a Moira RMB for 5 seconds lol, I know that for a fact because I’d be rich if I was given $1 every time someone called me a DPS Moira for throwing a damage orb or right clicking for 1 second lol

Literally this. They probably got 2 - 3 games in the last 24 hours of actual gameplay (if anyone even has that given the state of the servers <.<) and now it’s hyperbolic diary time. It’s like a kid’s parents telling him he had to do chores 2x this week and the kid screaming “MOM AND DAD NEVER LET ME DO ANYTHING”

if you want a game of healbots go play something else go on, keep nerfing the supports it makes no sense, literally nobody wants to play them so they have to give you additional exp to compensate for playing with that crap, where EVERYONE counter you and you are usually the easy kill of the team, trolling always existed and will always exist imagine if everyone came to cry just because the dps does not hit a shot in the whole game or because the tank has a dead brain

They could have implemented a system where only one shield is allowed per match. If you have two tanks then one of them has to forego their shield or breaks the other one

Most morias do an even 50/50 split on damage and healing and STILL out healing/damaging her other teammates.

Turns out most people playing the damage role are too busy weebing out with Hanzo and Genji and not actually doing anything. Or sitting with a 3 kill 0 death Widowmaker with only 300 damage actually done all game.

And here’s the actual answer.

You just want another easy hero to kill.
