The doomers were right about OW2

Our bet was never about competitive Beige, we never even mentioned it. Our bet was that the first week of launch (barring server issues which ended up happening as I predicted) DPS & Tank queue times would be under 5 minutes, and they both were. Cough up the $1000 or close your account, those were the options you gave me so those are your options. Quit moving goalposts, you were wrong.

Wbo the frick even are the Doomers? The people saying the game would die? The people criticizing any aspect of it? WHO IS EVEN A DOOMER?

Rofl Bronze 5 lol, wayyyyy above that also since everyone here seems to be placed at bronze 5 it should be most populated.

The game lost it soul because they wanted to appeal to zoomers who will play OW2 for a while and then move back to CoD as it feels and nearly plays the same.

Weird that you stuck with a “hot mess” for 6 years. Seems to be a common trend with OW2 stans. You all hated the game from 2016-2021 and magically love it now. Really strange. Not sus at all.

Its so bad even the Doomers back then where seemingly positive looking at what we got xD

I waited 16 minutes to find a tank match and now you’re moving the goalposts :joy:

Why don’t you go delete some more posts on Reddit.

We never said “ranked queue times” and now that’s all you’re talking about. Thanks for admitting defeat, too bad you won’t actually close your account or cough up the money. Not surprised.

What else would I have been talking about? You are so desperate. You act like a teenager trying to claim “ownage” even after you’ve lost.

I have thought this too. Same thing with them hiding SR gain/loss. I have a feeling they are covering all data from public view because they probably have a really bad system that is easily exploited now.

Welcome back Beige, fellow doomer.

Don’t play stupid Beige. You know you lost the bet. Our conversation was comparing beta 2 queue times to what queue times would be after Kiriko was playable at launch. You insisted they wouldn’t be better. And obviously we weren’t talking about competitive because not only was it never mentioned but competitive wasn’t even available in the betas.

I’ll take my $1000 now Beige  or you can close your account, your choice.

I agree with your other points, especially Push, I really like push. However these points I don’t really agree with.

It seems like different regions are having different problems with queue times, but here in NA dps queue times are at least just as bad as OW1. Sometimes it takes me 10 minutes to find a game. This is more an issue of Blizz needing to design supports better or offer better incentives to play and win as the role.

As for the monetization I strongly disagree. The only thing I agree with the doomers on is the monetization of this game. Especially considering the model in other f2p games isn’t this egregious or greedy, I think there’s a good case to be made about bringing the prices down if they want it to succeed. I don’t think it will necessarily push people away from the game, I’m simply just not going to buy anything other than the battlepass, but let’s not pretend it’s anything other than corporate greed.

It’s just tech company marketing - 25 million unique player accounts in the first 10 days had logged in.

How many were grandfathered in smurf accounts? How many stopped playing? How many were actually new players that still consistently play?

My queue times are much longer than 5 minutes. What point are you trying to make here? You seem to be the one who lost the bet. Now you’re backpedaling and saying “well ranked doesn’t count”. Is there something mentally wrong with you man?

Their in-game systems are failing faster than the balance or other experiences.
It’s about layers and the taste of the icing doesn’t matter if there isn’t a cake or table to rest it on.

And those numbers must be lies, or matchmaking gameplay experience is hard rigged.

It’s already reached 15mins queues for competitive. That’s like 5 hours for an ‘ajustment’ on your labelled SR, which basically doesn’t adjust. No one is buying dumb cosmetics for a live-service that doesn’t actually give you a service and is barely live.

Doesn’t matter, it’s free and people will spend tons of money on those garbage skins. That’s all that matters for the company so I’m pretty sure the game will be a success.

Its just internet jargon for anyone that has a criticism for something others love.

When it comes to the internet. Nuance is extinct because “if you don’t love the whole of something - that automatically means you hate it.”

^ That line of thought is why some people vehemently insult others verbally just for having a different opinion. If you’re the minority of opinions. No matter what it is… You’re seen as “wrong” in the majorities eyes.

Having a peak of 25 million players for a F2P version of a highly anticipated game is nothing special. People that didn’t or couldn’t buy Overwatch jump in to try the game now. You could dislike the game and uninstall it and your metric would still be used in ‘25 million people playing’. Trying a game for 15 minutes and a set playerbase are completely different things.

The statistic that actually matters is how many people are playing this game in 6 months on a daily basis.

Exactly. But it won’t stop shills from taking these vague PR statements and running with them as long as they can.

The statistic that I’m screenshotting right now is 23+ mins for a dps queue in bronze5.
So much for climbing to bronze4 today.
It’s dead or it’s rigged.
