Maybe at GM/OWL, but not in the lower leagues. Their tanking potential is in the dumpster. And the higher ups players and devs don’t care.

Yeah loved Sigma, but out of protest no shield now kids - you get nothing but RH and Zarya. Enjoy the nerfs. Really, really looking forward to all the DPS and Support whining about shields next…

Sigma was the last fun tank to play in the line up. His shield wasn’t strong, nor oppressive.
I would have much rather they nerf Kinetic Grasp so that he could be dived, if anything. But barriers are NECESSARY with all the stupid high amounts of damage being thrown around.

I can guarantee you I have never been less interested in OWL than I am today. I do not think this will work. I think this will antagonize all the players that like to tank and heal and just drive us away from the game causing a worsening dps que. Ultimately that may lead to the game dying. Well see

They’re pretty good for contesting snipers actually it just depends on what angles they play at. Also they would likely be with DPS that don’t require tanks to close the gap to gain map control, so you’d probably see mirror snipers or Sombra/Tracer/Echo played with it.

I think your hatred for OWL is so extreme that you missed all the threads in every forum talking about miserable it is to play against double shields. Also all the main tanks talking about how unfun orisa and sigma are.
