Is anyone else getting tired of every single match, even in quickplay quickly devolving into counter picking?
Where at the start of the match everyone selects what they want to play (which are often non oppressive heroes) then after the first team fight people swapping to sombra/pharah/widow/sojurn/orisa/kiriko/moria/ and a few others, which in turn causes the other team to swap to said heroes.
I just miss when you used to be able to relax and play what you wanted and didn’t swap every time you died. I expect this in comp but not in quickplay or other arcade modes. And if you don’t swap you are going to get reported and banned by an automated system for “gameplay sabotage”.
no, but only because my teammates refuse to swap ever. like oh theyve got a mercy pocketed pharah with 30 kills and 1death? Definitely need to stay on junk tracer! 
though I get what you mean, and wish heroes like pharah/orisa/widow didnt require counter picks to be able to play against them

I only swap in 2 situations:
Sym isn’t doing it or there is a Pharah that is doing well and we don;t have anyone else to deal with her.
That’s it. I never swap off Zarya when I tank, because I am bad with all of them, and I’ll play who ever I am playing because I wanna.
Honestly, I’m very close to just throwing my hands up and deciding to one-trick. I’m not a one-trick. I’ve never been a one-trick. But I’m tired of swapping multiple times a game. I’m almost at the point where I’d rather lose on my main than win on something else, almost.
