Imma do that. Imma bump this thread after losing so many games and wanting to Persona 3 myself.
Copying my response here in case you did not see it: From the video, those players on your team donāt seem to be bots but rather smurf account farmers, which are people who intentionally create new accounts and throw games to decrease their MMR, so that they can later be sold to smurfs. While technically not a bug, this behavior is still definitely reportable for gameplay sabotage.
As for your issues with rank adjustments, rank placement and rank adjustments take into account more than just wins and losses, they are also affected by how far apart the ranks are between you and your opponent, how new your account is, and how long ago you last played. Newer players have much more drastic rank adjustments due to the lack of performance history to base initial skill and inactive players similarly have more drastic rank adjustments due to the lack of recent performance history. Both of these are potential explanations as to how players that are grouped and play the same matches can end up with different ranks. Feel free to read the updated Developer Blog explaining rank adjustments here: Competitive Play Update ā Teaming up for better matches - News - Overwatch. However, if you believe that this truly is a bug, then please do check out the competitive bugs megathread linked at the bottom of this post, which archives and documents almost every competitive bug. Iāve compiled a list of similar posts regarding similar bugs under: Incorrect Rank Adjustment. Please help in spreading the word about this megathread and other related threads regarding these issues.
New month, same old Blizzard.
Hello there . I just wanted to know why im not in the top 500 combined for americas console . My combined rank is Master 1 , 500th spot is Diamond 1 . Ive played 246 games . 120 for tank won 61 M3 , 72 for dps won 30 M1 and 54 for support won 27 GM3 . Ive got a mobile number and authentication linked as well . Please help
Akiyama: I disagree, its more like the second month with half of blizzard and twice the issues.
WaitedTunic: If I had to guess, it is because you only won 27 for support, but in Season 3 of Overwatch 2, the developers made a change for Top 500 eligibility from 50 games played to 50 games won. So assuming your account is SMS and 2FA authenticated, then the last requirement you need to complete to gain Top 500 eligibility is to just 23 more wins as support. There are however a couple of notable scenarios in which won games do not count towards this requirement, which Iāve listed in the full list of potential solutions to the Top 500 leaderboard placement issue. I hope this helps.
Hehe, true indeed.
Maybe theyāll show us some love for Valentines Day.
Hey guysā¦ I think I had some stats retro fitted today???
Quick play onlyā¦ it seems like my QP hours jumped by 400 hrs today. My competitive time stayed exactly the same, and I would be missing probably even more from thatā¦ but yeah. Odd??? Any else seen their playtime jump? I see nothing in patch notes or on forums to confirm this
i feel likeā¦ but im not sureā¦ that my total playtime has increased. like they finally took some of my missing stats from ow1 and just plopped it, but not all.
Interesting, so it wasnt JUST meā¦
Happened to me to, nice to see
Finally some good news on the forums. Iām glad after almost a year and a half of waiting that your data was returned to you. From the other megathreads on missing career profile stats, it does look like a few players have had their data finally restored as well. That said, some other players still report having the issue so it doesnāt look like this fix has been applied to everyone just yet. Hopefully this is just sign that more waves of fixes are on the way and this issue will finally be completely resolved.
[MEGATHREAD FINAL UPDATE]
As of February 16th, 2024, forum moderator and community manager Kaedi has closed and unlisted The Competitive Bugs Megathread. This means it can no longer accept new replies, it cannot be displayed in topic lists, and it can only be accessed via a direct link. Screenshots below:

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude toward each and every one of you who has helped in spreading the word about all of these issues this past year and a half. From the wiped career profiles, to the falsely permanent banned accounts, to the inaccurate competitive rank adjustments, to missing end-of-season competitive rewards, to the missing Top 500 leaderboard placements and rewards for every season since Season 36, and so much more, it is evident Blizzardās only concern is to conceal issues rather than address and fix them. With the megathreadās closure however, it is unlikely any of these issues will be fixed, and as such, this will likely be my very last update.
That being said, I fully intend for this megathread to remain accessible as long as possible so that others may continue to utilize its collection of resources to help solve or help find solutions to any competitive bugs or issues you may have. While I will never delete this megathread, it is entirely possible it will be deleted by another forum moderator in the near future. As such, I have been preparing backups on the WayBackMachine so that its resources may continue to be utilized. Links to the backups are listed below:

Until then, please help in spreading the word about this megathread and other related threads, we must demand to be given the rewards we rightfully earned. And once again, thank you so much to everyone who has and will contributed in making these issues known. It truly was an honor, a privilege, and a joy to work with you all.
