Almost every tank is a brawl tank. The DPS roster includes three long range hitscan heroes out of six. The only off healers/main supports are Lucio and Mercy.
But most importantly winton didn’t make it. How can you have overwat without winton?

It is crazy. As you said, we just have Orisa for poke and Dva for diva. The lack of Doomfist and Hog bothers me greatly.

It’s a pretty solid roster of heroes that are popular and/or are fairly inoffensive. Though it is a bit weird that Orisa made it in over Winston. Also no Tracer, which just feels kind of wrong. Maybe they’re having trouble thinking up interesting power ideas for her.

What’s confusing about it? Main support is old pro play terminology during open queue. Most of those heroes are off healers for the purposes of ladder.

If there’s a third category people talk about now then sure whatever, but I’ve not heard anybody calling supports anything other than main or off lol
What? Main support and flex support is team roles for the purpose of pro play. Main healer and off healer are more relevant for ranked.

Off healer: Mercy, Lucio, Brig, Zen, Illari, Lifeweaver
Main healer: Ana, Bap, Moira, Kiriko, Juno

If they’re only relevant for the small portion of the community who cares about professional play, why would you expect them to be part of the general knowledge of the game?
Because the community has been using those terms quite frequently even though they are not all that relevant to most players. Mostly because main support + flex support comps are often meta even in ranked.

I can tell that they have not, people have continued to use main and off as terms because only a teensy amount of people pay attention to professional play
One thing I know about you from the way you comment is that you overvalue professional play. Please realize that their terms are not commonplace

Considering my top most played heroes recently are Brig, Sombra, and Winston, I’m feeling targeted/left out.

i mean anything that isnt all the characters avalible day 1 is a bunch of crap, but not even half is, well i cant use the word on this forum, lazy developers, they had years to do anything for ow2 and only marvel rivals forced them to do it and is crap
