I could totally have understood these changes in a non-2-2-2 world but these essentially make her unplayable in 2-2-2. Nerfing her self-heal and shield seemed like an obvious thing to try in order to combat the GOATs meta, but I cannot understand how they think this is acceptable to make her viable in 2-2-2. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure a lot of people are happy the character is essentially dead and I don’t necessarily think she would have been fine with zero changes, but I would take a 500 HP shield and high self-heal over 3 charges on armor pack ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. This rework is an overall nerf and I don’t really understand the justification now that GOATs is no longer an issue.

The changes were made specifically so Brig would function better in 2-2-2.
brig promoted low IQ play and i hope she gets removed completely
they should just remove all auto aim easy mode heroes
I agree, but only to an extent.
In my opinion they should revert her self healing fully and give her like 300 shield, this should do the trick.
500 shield is too much, it is hard to break and it is small, it doesn’t make any sense.

The intended way to play brig is in the back as a healer.
Yet her primary healing mechanic requires her to be standing close to her teammates while w/in melee range of the enemy.

yeah honestly i’m hyped af about the brig changes cuz screw her her
they buffed her whip shot and gave her 3 armor packs to help heal from a distance, they also increased her inspire for her teammates… now she doesn’t need to be in constant melee range to proc inspire. She is more viable now for a 2/2/2 meta than before… she just can’t YOLO in and beat up tanks anymore.

I would agree with this as long as they remove all aim or nothing heroes too.
I mean, lets be fair.
Remove Torbjorn and Widowmaker.
Remove Symmetra and Hanzo
Remove Brigitte and Ana
I’m telling you right now, this is gunna be great!
My games with brig were awful, 0 healing for tanks and the armor packs feel so slow, her kit has 0 value at this point.

Yeah you pick brig to heal in the back, in the situation you got enemy winston or tracer or just dive is jumping in back.

You do insane amount of heal with the new Brig if you play smart & safe.
