The new Background is too bright, please do something about it.
DEAR LORD what will we do?!
Out of everything that’s wrong with OW atm, you are seriously worried about the background being too bright? -_-
Turn your brightness down.
…also turn my sensitivity down. It’s too fast. Do something about.
That’s not helpful and you know it.
To the OP:
People have been saying this since the first anniversary, and they still use white backgrounds.
Doubt it will change any soon.
How is turning down the brightness…
When its too bright…
Not helpful…
:Omegathonk:
I do know it. Because I hop over to my ‘Options’ button, go to ‘Video’ scroll down to ‘Brightness’ and turn it down. Who woulda thought?
Because it’s only the menu.
Turning on the game in the middle of the night to see a big white screen gets a little blinding.
Turn the brightness down and the entire game gets darker.
The background isn’t supposed to be white! It’s a light grey. If it’s bright white for you then turn down your gamma on your monitor.
Then turn it down… only on the menu… then turn it back up in a match…
Youre coming up with problems to solutions. Just use the brightness slider, lmao.
Also, try turning on lights in your room, why do you play in the dark at night, thats terrible for your eyes.
Because it tones it down on everything.
Then
Turn
It
Back
Up
Lmfao so lazy
It’s not pure white, right, but it’s still close to it.
After seeing dark colours on the screen in a dark room and then turning on the game to see this bright colour isn’t the most pleasant thing.
Anyways, I’m not the one that started the conversation, I’m not the OP.
Yes, amazing solution.
Mess with the settings every time you enter and leave the match.
Better than whining on the forums because you launch a game in the dark and wonder why it hurts your eyes
I don’t remember asking anything from you. If this topic is not interesting for you you don’t have to a leave replay, especially if you don’t have anything helpfull to add.
And, thank you. It’s not my first time using a PC.
How do you ever play Ilios?
Also, why is the room dark? That puts unnecessary strain on your eyes.
Was turning down your brightness not helpful?
No, you only put it on the forums expecting people to reply.
Once again, I’m not the OP.
Your eyes get adjusted to the bright colours quickly.
Seeing the normal, colourful map in the menu helps with the transition from dark to bright.
It’s just the sudden bright white (or grey, you get the point) when you start the game that blinds you for a second.
There’s a reason why almost evey app and a lot of websites allow you to use dark mode.
