The atrocious experience of solo queue

It is just incredible how terrible this game becomes once you try solo queue.
Whatever you think is bad in this game (and the list is quite looooong), you haven’t experienced anything out of the ‘bad box arsenal’ it has if you have been queueing with friend(s) until now.
Be a plat - diamond player, solo queue competitive. Which is it gonna be ? Silver lobby or masters lobby ? You don’t know ? Thats fine because the game doesn’t know either. 4min10sec push map where you stomp enemy team or an escort map where enemy holds you (and your team) in spawn on your attack ?
You would like something in between where your desicions have actual impact on the game - sorry, none can do, this is Blizzard, not some actually competent company, go play Valorant, Apex or CSGO if you came for non desired things like individual impact.
What we offer is fast random queues, cringy interaction lines you cant turn off even though you heard them 100s of times already, AND, another Reinhardt buff because his pickrate is only 99%.

I do agree, solo queue in OW is one of the worst experiences you can have in gaming. It really doesn’t seem to matter how you play, you never seem to find a way to win consistently unless you use the meta characters which I hate doing.

The only way to make solo queuing less than horrible is to change the rank system to where wins/losses aren’t the primary factor of your rank. That’s never going to happen though, so solo queuing will continue to be dreadful.
