The Anger Around the PTR Mercy Buffs Explained

I glanced at it before weeks ago

I honestly don’t care about your opinion enough to read that whole thing just for to dig at potential reasons why you you’re wrong in feeling that something isn’t fun to you

No pun intended, by why does this thread keep getting rezed?

I don’t think you know what “crying” means.

“Cry”
verb

  1. shed tears, especially as an expression of distress or pain.
    “don’t cry—it’ll be all right”
  2. shout or scream, especially to express one’s fear, pain, or grief.
“the little girl fell down and cried for her mommy”
  • say something in an excited or anguished tone of voice.
“Where will it end?” he cried out”
  • (of a street trader) shout out the name of (goods for sale).
“there was a bustle of activity as vendors cried their wares, offering shellfish to potential buyers”
  1. (of a bird or other animal) make a loud characteristic call.
“the wild birds cried out over the water”

There are no tears being shed.
There is no shouting or screaming.
There is no excitement or anguish conveyed in the post; it is just laying out the way things are and the problems and contradictions within them.
I am not a street trader, and I am not selling any goods.
I am not a bird.

Is there a reason you’re taking this obtusely literal or are you just new to the internet

But I know that you already know that. You’re just feigning ignorance… to which I say this:

Im done im bostioooooooing outta here

Already debunked every single one of your points in another thread, yet you still keep going.

Mercy’s the most balanced she’s ever been, and she’s not changing because you keep whining. Just play her or leave her.

So…

It comes down to “reading is hard”.

You’re on a forum site. Reading and writing are literally the only things anyone coming to this site does.

Sorry, but if you’re going to walk into a debate and not bother to listen to the other side long enough to understand their viewpoints, you are only going to make a fool out of yourself.

Well, someone said this:

And then I replied to them.

And then someone else replied.

And now the ball is rolling.

sure why not

Would you honestly want to read a 5 paragraph essay on why I think Mercy is still enjoyable?

Wouldn’t you vastly prefer having clear cut reasons?

Have some respect for your audience too

Talk about judging a book by its cover… My advice; read the subject material before you start making assumptions.

Check my post count, darling. Now add 5000 to that from the old Overwatch Forums.

As for why I’m being literal… well, being literal is the best counter to absurd hyperbole.

Ah I getcha

I’m used to hearing absurd hyperbole all the time too when people complain about Mercy~

Would you be so kind as to link it here, so I can shoot it down?

Factually incorrect.

1% pickrate in GM is pretty abysmal. Mercy is still a throw-pick.

How about…

No.

I’m getting a feeling of deja vu right now. :joy:

Yes. I do that daily. So I can shoot them down.

Because if you don’t read something, you are too ignorant to comment on it.

Oh, the reasons are clear-cut. There’s a lot of time spent elaborating and supporting those reasons, however.

If you want to explain the way things are, it’s best to also explain why things are the way they are.

I will respect anyone who attempts to create constructive discussion.

Walking into a debate while ignorant of the other side’s views while outright refusing to educate oneself on those views will not create constructive discussion.

There’s absolutely zero ways to explain yourself without that topic huh

Every single word is critical, there’s no way you can shorten it or leave anything out

So in other words, you have nothing to rebuttal against what they said, and are just resorting to insults at this point? Is that correct?

I didn’t use an insult?

although going back I don’t think I ever started this conversation trying to refute anything in particular
