The amount of people I avoid on a daily basis

Is alarming…

Racists, throwers, trolls… This playerbase is horrific.

Maybe the problem is you

Yes, they do exist. But definitely not that much.
I mean, it’s almost June. So we’re going to see those flavors of haters (like normal) but they’ll mostly be gone after the first week.

Outside of events, they are more rare.

What if you were given unlimited avoids and eventually hit a point where you could no longer queue into a match because you’d avoided too many players.

Would you just stop playing OW at that point or would you relent and take some of them off of your naughty list?

I hope they appreciate how lucky they are. You sound toxic af.

What’s the saying about if everywhere you go everyone is an ahole, it’s you, not them?

We’re always the problem it seems on the forums.

Id castrate them so they cant pro-create then take them of my naughty list.

You sound hella toxic loser.

Was not prepared for the epic devastation of “Nuh-uh. You are.” I’m crushed.

I mostly avoid my friends, family and coworkers.

But I’ve never used the avoid filter on Overwatch. If a teammate was useless and spoke ill of any of our teammates, then I have the slight possibility to get on the enemy team next game.
And that is not something I want to give up. EVER.

hope youre banned fast, we dont need players like you

Right, well now you are loser.

Idk what rank you are, but everyone above Masters generally has the entire thing filled at all times. So many boosted players, especially Tanks.

How dare you be a different skin color/sound of a different ethnicity online grrrr

“You sound toxic AF for wanting to avoid racist comments” “If everyone’s doing it the problem is you not them”

And if you were trying to say this you should of specified it instead of going for a general attack.

It’s not anyone else’s job to make an argument for you, if your gonna call someone out you better damn make sure you do it right.

The reason I can use that argument and show you how dumb that sounds is because you left it open.

Sounds like a normal day to me. Every other game you’re likely to get someone standing still in front of enemy team hello-ing. Literally ran into one guy I’ve avoided on like the other day simply because I filled the list, so he got pushed out of it.

This is what happens when a game goes F2P. I’m not saying we didn’t have these issues in OW1, but it is notably worse at the moment. At least for me. Other’s mileage may vary in that respect.

I don’t avoid a huge number of players. Even if someone does really badly on a loss I accept it could just be a bad game for them. But I am noticing the need to use the avoid function more often than I used to. (Usually on people who lose a teamfight and then sit sulking in spawn.)

Whoa there, bit much.

I understand the sentiment, some players are blood boilingly awful people. But talking about bodily harm is probably a line we should not cross.

Which region are you playing in?

Having played in a bunch of regions, the difference in toxicity between them is… pretty something.

yeah brain damage is real, first game of the day 6v6 comp, had one widow not even playing just jumping in the void on repeat, finished game with 0 damage done

that’s enough overwatch for today i’m trying season 2 in rivals

then you get banned if you type some bad words in chat but these throwers are rampant somehow

Sounds like you are the problem
