If D.Va can eat it, then genji can deflect it.

Vice Versa.

Also, im going to cry if they both cant do anything agianst her abilites

Given this is blizzard, probably not. For some reason they love to release their hero’s completely broken and then nerf it months later. Just the same old scam many Free to play games do, make new hero’s brokenly OP to get people to play them then cut the legs out from them later on in preparation of another hero.

People say they purposely release heroes in a broken state so everyone plays it to gather data faster . Which kinda makes no sense because how accurate can that be.
Although Ashe wasn’t exactly busted when she was launched so I don’t know how true this is.

Man she looks so incredibly over powered lol.

Well they aren’t always Over Powered, some times they are just useless like Orisa at launch. Ashe was pretty strong at first with how much dmg Dynamite did to a group, charged Ult fast which let her spam out Bob fairly fast. She also used to be able to 2 shot a lot of hero’s, with only one of those being a head shot.

I can understand needing more data to better balance a hero… but some things that get released are just laughably bad. Things like the first brush of Valkrie Mercy and her broken gun. That shows either no one play test things before release, or they are really really bad at the game and noticing balance issues.

really good question. if both d.va or genji cant counter it then i think she will get nerfed after since that seems a bit OP. i wouldnt be surprised if thats the case tho…

new hero syndrome

edit: wait just saw the leaked asian ability trailer. looks like genji can deflect her primary fire so im sure d.va can matix field it too

Somehow I doubt it will. Rail gun afterall.

People absolutely slept on released Ashe. She had precision of a long ranged hitscan , good ult and a spammable output damage of junkrat.

Not to mention pocketed Ashe could 1 shot a lot of heroes.

Love it when Genji mains think they deserve everything

… Yes… heaven forfend the “lol nope” button doesn’t deflect something.

But OW isn’t free to play nor do you have to pay for heroes, or did I miss some details about OW2?

Release Ashe’s hitscan was extremely wonky – it seemed like a dice roll whether it hit or not for most people.

I love being called entitled by people who both doesnt play genji,or their only experience with a genji player is a 12yr old naruto watcher

And trust me it shows :moyai:

I want railgun to be beam type

isnt rail gun supposed to like go through stuff? walls even?

I’ve seen games not really know what a railgun is and confuse it with a rail launcher, because it fires rails, or rebar beams. So who really knows at this point

… now be fair… This is a LOT of genji one tricks.

real navy rail gun/cannon… crazy

I didn’t say OW paid for hero’s, at least not yet though they are looking into Battle passes and other forms of further MTX. In fact that detail was the first thing we heard about OW2, long before any gameplay or other features.

But no what i meant was a sense of false excitement and hype is put into a new hero release because they are usually Over powered and broken. Then they nerf it later on just to hype people up again for a new hero.

Free to play games are even worse in that they nerf and buff hero’s on rotation just to push people into buying them. It doesn’t even have to be a new character/weapon/hero. Just a rotation to force a new meta, a new must pick ability or skill.

OW mostly focuses on new hero’s to bring people back to the game , to drive interest.

Are there railguns that AREN’T electromagnetic? Like functional non toy ones?
