Thank you devs :)

i feel like the devs dont get the credit that they should, they have created one of the best games ever, its not been in a great spot for a while but they are really trying to fix that, if you think about everything the have done you can see they do care about the game, sure they have dont a few bad things but who hasn’t?

The OW team deserve exactly everything they are receiving… a few thanks and a whole lot of other things as well. I’m mostly on the side of expressing my hate for everything Blizzard, and I think they have earned my hate many times over.

No one asked but here’s my $0.02 worth of appreciation:

Credit where credit is due. As you can see some areas of the ‘ecosystem’ are industry leaders, others lag and are making sluggish or non existent process improvements. Engine, Art, Bnet teams deserve lots of praise. Gameplay & Balance/Design is holding it’s own (hard to please everyone) and doing OK.

The in-game systems are where OW really falls behind. When you think about the level of disregard to the ranked experience and support for grievance issues.

Rest assured I’ll be giving my thanks to them when I see that they deserve it. Things might slowly be on the mend, but after the years of minimal communication and barely appearing to acknowledge some community feedback (the reasonably constructive bits that is), as well as some odd hero balancing and messy hero reworks (feeling as it’s based on pro feedback/OWL gameplay), I remain somewhat sceptical.

They did but thats long gone, you tell people that you play OW nowadays and they will usually react with “oh you still play that thing?” Followed by " i quit ages ago it turned so bad"

They cant stop the hemorrhage of losing players.

Sign this guy up for the monthly OW subscription because 4 years of free gaming isn’t deserved.

Over the years I’ve played Blizzard games I’ve probably paid in the lines of 5000 USD to Blizzard for subscriptions, lootboxes, game purchases, and Hearthstone card packs. I haven’t played any Blizzard games for 2 years, and I’m never ever giving Blizzard money again.

Thank you devs. Thank you for crappy GTX 10** support. Thank you for pseudo PS4 Pro support. Thank you for macOS version (but we have Switch version, WOW). Thank you for making every new hero pain in the butt and then nerfing crap out of it. Thank you for DPS queue is >10 minutes. Thank you for reworks no one asked you for. This is no longer game I enjoyed for 3 years. Thank you for nothing.

No they’re really not trying at all, they’re wasting all their time making ow2

Trying would be fixing the dps q times which has such an easy solution. How long has it been since role q came out and still they have done literally NOTHING to lower the q times it’s shockingly bad

I don’t see it as wasting. Because if they put time and effort into Overwatch 2 more we will get a better game. Besides they are working with both game’s to make a new game so they can implement all the cool new things to come!

What annoys me is people with like 1500 hours played complaining about the game. For one you’re probably burnt out with it, and secondly, 1500 hours play time for $50 is incredible value.
