I love the new mccree. I can finally kill pharas. I am so happy i bought his gold gun because now I think I’m going to main him just because of this buff.

Up until now, McCree has been a glass cannon without the cannon part. This buff actually allows him to be a threat for the first time since I started playing Overwatch. It’s nice to play McCree and actually be able to fill a roll on the team that consists of more than just - cool motif, spends half the game walking from the spawn room to the objective.

so… what i gather from your post is that you’ve been not playing mcree at all for “several years” because it was “not fun”, and now that he’s buffed beyond reasonable amount and is kind of insane you finally find him fun. Is that right?
Is this the same kind of “fun” that Brig players had when she was the terminator?

You had to have great aim to make a dent on the other team with mccree, now this small buff helps him so much.

This, I waited 3 years, I do not really care if it is not what I wanted. Beggars cannot be choosers and now people fear the Reaper… I mean McCree. He is a better Reaper than Reaper tho. Real talk.

The atomic bomb made a small dent compared to how big the world is. But when you think about it, this was a small buff that had a massive affect.
you waited 3 years without playing him, and now that you know he’s overpowered you’re excited to play him. you people actually bother me so much.
First of all he was absolutely fine without this ridiculous buff. This patch is going to make me uninstall, honestly. This just killed all the fun for me.
Second of all, you should have played him in the last 3 years instead of “waiting for this”.

McCree feels much nicer than he did previously.
Now that he has a smg like pistol, he is SO much nicer.
Perhaps they may want to slow his reload or something. Otherwise he feels just like Soldier if a bit clunkier
