if you try and pick up overwtach but dont know much about the game your gonna have a decent period of time where your trying to climb while your still learning ^^^ post above explains why shroud couldnt climb off of the fact he has godly aim alone
he was 3 star and in plat, gamesense takes years, or coaching

Gamesense is more important then mechanics
hence players like Emongg can climb higher then players like Shroud
As said: mechanics, gamesense and positioning are all equally required.
Generally if you master 2 of those you can easily hit gm

im trying to explain to you that you have a lot of flawed concepts in your noggin over there that are eventually just gonna be a detriment to the way you think about things e3specially when you need to use a common personality multiple times in exchange of your own thoughts. your just over there grabbing other peoples thoughts and using other people as an example to try and justify why you cant climb. your not shroud so just practice your teamplay.
I can climb and I have enough to consistently scrim against OD, you havent explained anything but a simple black and white point with no backing other then previous false statements, from what I see you are a gold player, so i dont know what i expected

a hero that damages while healing is always going to be annoying, lucio is pretty much the same but his dps is pretty low while zenâs healing is pretty low

I agree with this, but a lot of issues on these forums when it comes to drama (like with content creators) is due to them thinking that they know how the game is played. They donât.
Now, if they want to talk about âwell in Gold Brig is super weak and we donât know why but I think this is itâ then itâs more than fine. Itâs constructive feedback.
But screaming into the void or yelling at content creators or high elo players or calling us âwhinersâ or anything of the sort is not only poor etiquette but itâs also extremely misguided.
The big issue is that a lot of lower-elo players come to the forums, come to reddit, and try to say âWell this happens in my elo so we need to work on itâ without acknowledging that they are âbadâ. They are unable to or simply donât choose to dedicate the time to improving. They must accept this of themselves when it is true so that they can widen their views that âHey, maybe itâs only an issue for us and I need to consider othersâ perspective or work on making it a non-issue for myself.â
A gold Brig player will struggle with Brig because of the lack of team-play. But if that gold Brig works on improving their play and understanding, they will climb to elos where Brig works better and theyâll start to see a lot of problems in balancing they once thought existed was just because of how terrible people are in previous elos.

I would agree with this! But yea I think removing offense and defense DPS was good, but it should have been reworked to be more like this because I feel like it would have allowed them to balance heroes more specifically.

Went to see the video. Heâs pandering to his audiences. Thatâs not particularly surprising obviously.
What surprising is:

Sure bud. A hero thatâs been meta for 2 years in organized play isnât issue. Even after 22 nerfs, sheâs meta in latest team oriented plays (contenders). Of course those pros donât know how to counter her. A diamond or plat knows how to counter her. Just go phara 4head.
People in the community think pro plays donât matter. They also think that since they paid once for a game, they are entitled to get free contents until judgement day.
What people donât get is that OW wasnât making tons of money outside of the original sales. Since Brig essentially killed of the pro scene with year long goats, itâs not going to attract sponsors that arenât IBM or similar things (theyâre using AI from Google for a while in starcraft).
But obviously content creators know how to manage a large scale business. They talk about balancing as if they are game developers. I wonder how these content creators would feel if the devs of the game came out and told how these youtubers are stealing contents from news sites and publishing contents as if they own it.
