You dont play many wrecking ball games anymore, but everytime I do I am reminded as to why he is so incredibly unfun to play against.

I think bans are a good thing because then Blizzard has to face the truth that nobody likes playing against dishonest heroes. OW was always about close range brawling and strategy, adding too much burst damage with no falloff and mobility has killed the game slowly overtime.

Yeah they should delete all heroes and only make Soldier 76 selectable so everyone is honest and no ban is required.

Soldier is also dishonest since his entire kit is, run on a flank, shoot, helix, run away. If they cut his runspeed by half he would be an honest hero.

Hero bans are horrible, every big patch they make chips away more and more at what once made this game so great and addicting

Posts like these are why need forced singles queue for at least a season. If all these boosted stackers had to play with the dregs of this community like us who do solo q, you’d have a very different opinion on how this game works. “Bro just counter him” yeah have fun doing that when your dps are 2-10 and refuse to switch.

But the option to find people to play with exists.

If you’re going to complain about heroes and want to take the game seriously - find people to queue up with who will actually swap to counter.

Like it’s silly to complain about a heroes performance in a competitive game if you’re not going to actually play competitively.

For the record, I don’t stack either. I would welcome forced single queues because it doesn’t affect me.

My Diamond lobbies are dumb.

They ban Sombra and then don’t vote to ban Wrecking Ball. So then we get a Wrecking Ball pissing them off instead. :rofl:

Which is funny because when Ball is banned and Sombra isn’t
no one picks her.

And its reflected in the hero design

He has a strong psychological effect, 3 of my teammates always HATE him even if he doesn’t do anything but roll around. Very similar to Sombra.

Sombra and ball have a thing in common, which is its so frustrating they can come in, get damaged and run away. You do not get the satisfaction of killing them even if they mess up because they have easy escapability.

Yep, the most annoying heroes are the ones who you dont interact with unless they interact with you first. And they can get out to come back to interact with you again in 10 seconds to rinse and repeat.

Literal flies. You cant chase the fly it will buzz off and disappear, but it’ll be back.

The only thing worse than playing with ball is playing against ball, terrible design as a 5v5 tank imo
