I feel like there needs to be a guideline of what can and cannot be said during a match. People complaining about random text chat is wild.
What constitutes as “toxic”? what constitutes as “harassment”? What constitutes as “smack talk”?
There are guidelines. Do not say anything that could be deemed offensive, including profanity.

From my own experience and many others having team and match chat off also warrants an abusive chat warning
Just use the snowflakes guide and you will be fine. If you use the reasonable person standard, you are going to get burned. In other words, even GG is off limits if you win the game because that will offend someone.

Doesn’t really matter. There’s no human analysis on reports. Just mass report a player and they’ll eventually get banned.

That is precisely WHY you should err on the side of caution. It is not up to Blizzard and therefore they cannot outline a specific criteria. If you offend someone, you get reported.
Ok but if I tell someone that their aim is wack? Is that offensive or no? Cause at this point I hesitate to tell my team what to do or where to go
It depends on the person, obviously. I wouldn’t risk any direct criticism as that is more likely to trigger someone. But people definitely get away with more. It’s a “know your audience” type of situation.

this game just don’t care at all for what you report, i report evety time someone type gg after stomp with description and they count it as legit.

It isn’t abusive to me, but if you tell the person that and they take offense and report it, then it counts against you. The teammates themselves may not report you with said person, but it still can count as an instance of a report made against you.
You can appeal reports and I have appealed and the GM copy and pasted to me what I said and agreed that it was abusive. But telling one person they are wack aimers, can lead to you telling everybody in every game that they are wack aimers and then you get mass reported and now you are silenced/suspended…so I would advise say nothing. You cannot control people’s aim anyway and you calling them out on their aim isn’t gonna suddenly make them aim any better.
And at the end of the day, it isn’t their fault they can’t aim. It’s the matchmaking’s fault for putting someone that bad at aiming in MY group when I have a 70-80 percent hit rate. And that I also cannot control. I only can stop playing the game, or put up and shut up.
