Look, I like the game, but I just don’t feel like playing right now, much less grinding for loot boxes/credits. I shouldn’t be forced to play the game within a strict time span just to unlock my character’s Halloween skin. I’m sure they won’t be available forever, so this is just pressuring me to play when I don’t want to. This is not good at all.

Play when you want to, save up your credits, and buy the skins for credits. This is a problem you can pretty much solve for yourself if you want to. You just need to have the self control to not spend any credits on non-holiday cosmetics.

You’re not.
To be pressured into something, there needs to be a choice. Choose the opposite of what you’re being pressured into, and you should be alright.
I want the Halloween skin, but I don’t want to play hours on end to earn it. I want to take my time, play when I feel like playing. The Halloween skins will become unavailable at some point, so this is unreasonable. There’s more to life than just playing Overwatch. What do you people not understand.

It lakes a bit more than 1 hour to get 9 wins through Junkensteins Revenge, so even if you don’t feel like playing Overwatch for an entire week, it isn’t really a lot of “work” to get the 3 Epic Skins.
All other Halloween Skins will be available again during the Anniversary Event and the next Halloween Event.
Save up some coins when you feel like playing OW, then spend them if you don’t feel like playing during an event but want some of the skins.
Leave the skins in the store even after the Holiday event is over.
How fasts can I get 2000 credits by playing the Junkensein game mode? If it’s tedious and boring, that’s unreasonable. I didn’t buy this game to cause me stress. The skin has a price tag, that’s fair. Telling me I have such and such amount of time to unlock it before having to wait an entire year before I can attempt to earn it again is RIDICULOUS!
The epic skin I get better be the specific Halloween skin for MY CHARACTER.

Honestly, you can save a lot of coins just only buying older event skins for 1000 coins instead of 3000 coins. only spend 3000 coins on a skin if you know you absolutely must have it and want to use it all the time.
Dude, the event is already here and I’m 2000 credits less than what I need.
It is totally a problem. I’ve only had this game for a month. There’s no “whole year” anything.

Yeah, it is your problem then.
This game is +4 years old. You can not expect to start playing and get every cosmetic and skin that you want in 1 month.
With the exception of weekly challenge skins, you do have the option to purchase loot boxes directly in your game platform’s marketplace. Right now there is a great deal where you get 10 bonus loot boxes with the purchase of the largest tier (50). Here is the link for PC players:
Console players, look to your console marketplace to purchase loot boxes.
It’s called a challenge for a reason. Missing out on event skins really, genuinely isn’t that big of a deal.
