Do not send developers hate, I am simply disagreeing with their interactions towards the community.
It’s not hard to say “hero x is classified but we are looking at them.” The post saying “no revert” wasn’t even in the thread that Mercy discussion is “directed” to.
I could go on about balance, or matchmaking or toxicity or an honor system, but RichC did that. I am just here to agree. Developer’s unprofessionalism is disgusting.

I’m asking for them to interact on one of the thousand computers they have. Consistent updates. If they have nothing for us one month, they can say that, but coming to your community every 5 months like “hey guys” is awkward, deadpan, and unhelpful.

ActiBlizzion devs have to follow chain of command and can only talk to the community if they send in a special form to a superior. They then have to wait 3-5 business days for the response.

The fact that they communicate at all makes it awesome.

Also, I like it when they are brief and harsh. Sometimes you gotta just tear the band-aid off.

Those developer updates don’t really address any issues. They just say:

  • “blah blah reducing toxicity blah blah”
  • hero buffs/nerfs
  • “the community has impact on balance” (explain Ana and Rein then, lol)

Just because other companies are worse doesn’t give Blizzard the excuse to be bad. Here, let me make an analogy for you.

You’re at a car dealership and browsing when the salesguy comes and asks if you need anything. You point out three cars and ask what their quality is.

The salesguy says that cars 2 and 3 are very old, have extremely bad steering, have a 75% chance to blow up when you start the engine, etc. He also says car 1 is old, has bad steering, and has a 50% chance of blowing up when you start the engine. Is car 1 not bad because the other two are worse? No.

I hate how PTR is done. People need to figure out damage numbers themselves especially the new heroes. Some changes that are added on PTR go un-noticed like the Dva Charge nerf. People didn’t even noticed it but to release it live without telling us you did that was super bad.

I am fine with the change though as you barely noticed it. It doesn’t hurt Dva mains at all.

I still await the Tracer nerf. People complained about how OP Tracer was ever since the game was released, Her only nerf was her victory pose.
