Temp going higher than 95 celcius not constant

I am playing the game and like after 1 or 2 games suddenly the game start to dorp at 50 fps and 95 degrees celcius and after it come back normally after like 5 minutes idk what is happening. someone knows why and how can i fix it ?

Hey Zoe,

Here are some good steps that may help. If you want to provide a screenshot of the HWMonitor (you can upload using Imgur) and your DxDiag, we may be able to provide more specific suggestions.

  1. Press Windows Key + R, type in DxDiag and press Enter.
  2. In the window, click Save All Information.
  3. Name the file and click Save.
  4. Please copy and paste the DxDiag information in-between the code blocks (</> button).

If this GPU or CPU is going 95C+, your PC will throttle itself to save itself from a crash. That’s why your FPS is dropping. There’s not a lot of help we can provide if you’ve already confirmed it’s overheating other than the suggestions here. The only other thing I’d add is “If you’re overclocking anything, disable it - that’d be a major cause of sudden spontaneous heat spikes”.

If those don’t help though, your best bet is going to be talking with a PC technician in your area - they can actually inspect the physical hardware to see if there’s an issue with your physical cooling hardware, thermal paste, etc.
