Team drive issue

Team Drive Should NOT Count Toward the Roman Numeral on the Signature Reward

I want to raise a serious concern about how Team Drive is being counted toward the Roman numeral progression on the Signature Reward.

I have participated in every previous Clash event. The only reason I skipped Team Drive was because I read the official announcement and understood that it would have no impact on the end-of-season Signature Reward. I followed the rules and information provided by Blizzard.

Now, however, my Signature Reward number is one below the maximum because Team Drive apparently counts toward the Roman numeral progression.

This puts players like me at a permanent disadvantage simply for following the information in the official announcement.

There is also an additional issue that makes this situation even more unfair. During the event, some players’ Signature Reward progress disappeared due to a bug. Even players who completed Team Drive were unsure whether their Roman numeral would actually increase. By the time the issue was fixed, Team Drive had already ended.

This means players who skipped Team Drive based on the official rules had no reasonable way to know that it would eventually affect their Signature Reward.

I strongly request that Blizzard do one of the following:

  • Add one Roman numeral to everyone’s Signature Reward progression, so that players who did not participate in Team Drive are not permanently disadvantaged; OR
  • Remove the Roman numeral awarded for Team Drive from the progression entirely.

I have played Overwatch since Overwatch 1. I have collected essentially all collaboration skins and Evolution skins, and I have climbed from Bronze to Master over the years.

I have invested an enormous amount of time and effort into this game. But if Blizzard’s official rules say that something does not affect the end-of-season Signature Reward, and players are then penalized for trusting that information, that is extremely disappointing.

I hope Blizzard will reconsider this and provide a fair solution for everyone who skipped Team Drive because the official announcement explicitly indicated that it was unrelated to the end-of-season Signature Reward.

Please don’t punish players for following the rules.

You didn’t participate in the event. You would need a lawyer.

I may need one for sure , since everyone is clear blizzard had confused us with an unclear rule

Trusting Blizzard is a big mistake and one I hope you do not make in the future. These clowns are making me grind twice as long for UwU. That is what I get for trusting them to fix bugs in a month.

Having 1 lower number is not a disadvantage, as it does absolutely nothing.

I posted about this a week ago and nobody replied. I had assumed they would do something slimy like this, risked getting a season barn visit, and completed this anyway. Team double diamond, and double table flip. Week old news is weak old news, nothing is going to happen op, sorry.

I mean, the requirements to increase your roman numerals is to fully complete drive events, and this was a drive event….so…

Also you are not disadvantaged at all. The numbers don’t affect gameplay, they are only cosmetic.
