I play OW on the Xbox One, and while playing Competitive/QP I’m unable to join team or group chats. I’ll try to join from the character select screen and I won’t get the notification that I, or a teammate has joined, nor can I see or hear them talk.
If I go to ‘social’ and view my team, it’ll only show a muted mic icon next to my gamertag. I’m unable to speak and I don’t get a muted icon in the top left of my screen while playing in-game.
I’ve looked through the forums and the only fix seems to be either closing the game/logging out but out of 10 it’s only worked once and muted me again once I was placed into another game.
I’ve confirmed that it’s only an issue with OW, and party chats on the Xbox still work and my headset is fine. I’ve reset my chat settings and it didn’t really help. I’d appreciate it if anyone supplied any feedback because placements have been rough without proper team comms.
