Just imagine how much more toxicity would ensue, oml that is the last thing console OW needs. I feel bad for PC players, there must be so much more toxicity on PC.
Does it really make a difference though? People can still go to your profile and message you. Sure you can set your account to private but you can also just turn off text chat.
Being a killer main in dead by daylight is guarentee hate mail every match and is the sole reason my profile is private
I wouldn’t know I /hidechat and leave VC
Until I get to rank where people don’t march in one by one dieing I won’t join voice because there’s no point in telling someone theyre feeding because the community members will just somehow find a way to turn their mistake into how it was my fault.
I love shot calling but I play in a rank where when I say “look at brig” or “monkey can die”
People say “shut up”
So I don’t do voice it’s not worth it
the first shooters on PC where toxic as hell, and to make it worse net security was far more lax. far easier to hack and acquire the other persons private info. dont feel sorry for us, our feelings arent so fragile and we have grown thicker skin because of it.
