With the introduction of a new cc hero… CC is now more important then Tanking Damage. (Tanking might not even be needed as a Role.)
(Why we really needed that Anti CC tank.)

Ashe only has one set of CC in her kit which doubles as her mobility. Why is this an issue?

Because you can now just do a bunch of stun combo with knockbacks to win games.

She doesn’t have a stun in her kit. She only has a knockback which is also her mobility tool.
CC is a part of this game and was a part of the game since it was designed. The exaggeration that some heroes have knockbacks and crowd control in their kit is the most hyperbolic thing to come out of these forums.

Look just wonder why Mei and DF are really rising so much… it isn’t just there buffs. They can pretty much replace tanks
God forbid Mei is used a bit more than 1% of the time!11!1111!!!1!! (Also Mei was always an off-tank sort of)
I don’t know where the idea that Doomfist replaces a tank in a standard line up is coming from.

You haven’t paying attention to the meta.
I’m a D.Va main as you may be able to tell, and I’ve started to play Orisa a bit more, I don’t see the value in picking a Doomfist over either of these heroes.

a loss of control like a stun (bang)/incap (sleep) is a cc
if you want to worry about CC wait until hog enables a bunker comp consisting of ori/hog/x dps/ jrat/bridg/ana
