Tanks cause the most throws. It does kinda make sense though since they have the highest impact. My proposal is to buff dps so they have equal imapct, or just give us open queue back kthx.
Haha, how about no.
That’s because it’s easy to overstay.
And since they are front liners, it’s easy to see when they are doing wrong stuff ahead of you.
No, toxic “children” who expect the team to cater to their whims or derankers looking for an excuse to scapegoat someone else, are who throw games.
No hero pick causes this, because that’s not a legitimate excuse to give up.
The main reason tanks “cause throws” is that for most skill tiers it comes down to “which team has a Reinhardt that plays decently”.
No, DPS throw the most. And they have the lowest impact.
This is why the DPS queue is longest, because its the easiest class to play.
It would help greatly if there were an actual reasonable amount of Tank heroes to choose from with more overlapping roles and appeals and more diverse synergies.
As it stands, Tanks are by far the most restrictive role synergy wise and players are forced to learn an unreasonable amount of wildly different kits and playstyles with little room for personal preference, just to not be throwing on the role.
As for your “solutions”, buffing DPS would just make the other queues even longer and therefore actually worsens our quality of life. And open queue already exists, twice, and it’s bloody terrible for DPS mains.
1-3-2 would make it easier for dps to carry, tanks do throw the most…when you get good tanks the game feels great
woahh chill out bud, tanks need nerfs, dps do NOT need buffs
Just play classic QP in arcade thats where i am most of the time, being locked to a role sucks, even though i am usually stuck playing support most of the games. What really matters is the choice involved.
i don’t really think it’s the tanks though, because a tank have to try really hard to throw, because half the value of the tank is being a punching bag.
also sure if a tank has a bad strategy, but it is still a strategy and it’s his team that’s throwing for not going along with them.
just offering a different perspective.
also here to illustrate my point.
This does not make any sense.
Do you really play Overwatch? Lol
Tanks need both pressure on the enemy team to allow them the initial space to push, and need constant healers to maintain the frontline. They are the most dependent heroes in the game.
I think I overstaying is different than throw.
Throwing is intentional
A lot of overstaying isn’t.
that is kinda the thing with tanks, especially if your the main tank, because what you are doing is trying to make/take space, and the best way to make space is by going arrgo, you will throw a lot if you are just starting of but then you will start to understand when to go aggressive, and when not to by doing that. For attack for defense is over staying the same spot when you should back off.
