We just do our job, unnoticed, grinding away, making do with powerful dps that is thrown at us.
Healers get thanked for healing
DPS get thanked for doing all the damage.

Do you play the game to get thanked?
Tank you…
I know getting appreciation is real nice, but you should be doing things you enjoy because you enjoy it, not because of the possibility of getting a thank you.
Just play the game? Why do you need to be thanked?
You get to play the game, instead of sitting in queue. Do you need more than that?
And tanks get the shotcaller endorsement all the time.
Playing tank might feel like a thankless job, but it is very much appreciated by every player who doesn’t have a watermelon instead of a head.
No we dont, we get yelled at for not blocking infinite damage instead
In that case my experience playing tank is completely different to yours. I can’t recall a single time when people were shouting at me for not blocking infinite damage. And it’s not like I’m even at some high level of play where people know what they’re doing and how to do it best.
I get thanked in gold elims and knowing I’m the most impactful player on the team.
Won’t someone think of the poor tank saints toiling away in obscurity.
A Endorsements.
B Tanks can be at fault as often as DPS
C Not my fault blizzard won’t let me literally Tip that rare tank i find who did their job great with like 20 coin. Oh thanks for carrying this lame team here have a purple fistbump or an orange butterfinger…
D Always tip your tanks and supports
