Do your job. If the enemy team has two dive tanks and you expect me the soldier to shoot pharah down down I can’t constantly have to fend off dva, tracer,doomfist without heals and no tanks peeling to assist me.

I see far more bad tanks and bad supports than bad dps.

your stats showing it clearly you dont even once try improving team work by playing that role these player been playing, you dont know anything about how support or position yourself with team, so they wont die and stay alive win games as team

and that why you’re 1.6k if you were wasting less time complaning about dps and more asking what you did wrong you would’nt be 1.6k

The guy is right in a way. Dps is mechanically demanding of course, but their job is pretty simple… get kills.

Tanks and supports jobs are a bit more tricky. Tanks have to resist the urge to tunnel vision down a target, create space, and trust that the space they are making will allow the dps / supports to do their jobs better than the enemy team.

Supports have to also resist that urge to tunnel vision down a target. It’s a bit more of a balance, knowing when you can garentee a kill and knowing when you need to be supporting / peeling for your teammates.

Dps players need that mechanical skill but their job (getting kills) is the most basic part of the game. Tanking and supporting correctly is quiet different and more challenging imo. Unless you’re playing mercy, then it’s just healing or damage boosting at the right times. Sorry for the jab at mercy. Lol

and healers job is just to heal the team

and tanks job is just to make space

and all it’s required from them is good usage of a ability and positioning whle dps need to learn positiong and mech skills

meach skills are harder to learn than knowing when to click a button

I main support, and seeing Tanks not creating space for dps gets old real fast.
Alternatively when I don’t heal/look at other healer I often go… ‘why’.
Like a Moira tries to 1v6 the point, then dies and I’m left healing two critical tanks :confused:

This is a point less argument.

It’s a triangle. It’s a team game. You can make the same argument every 3 ways. Every class has their strengths and weaknesses thay benefit each other. Every playstyle is different. If you’re not willing to “felx” and are hypocritical of the other roll, then play it yourself.

Instead of pointing fingers, ask yourself what you can do to improve and benefit the team.

If you’re constantly doing the same thing expecting a different result, then it’s you that needs to change. Adapt to the adapters.

I main support and tanks. I make sure I can switch between almost every one to be able to adapt. Offensive characters aswell.
