Now that there isn’t tank busters Bastion/ Reaper tank feels so free. They were the most annoying part of tanking besides shields ofc. Diff the enemy tank for them to go tank busters zzzz.

I have to be honest, it’s pretty easy to play against Reaper and Bastion these days. It was always pretty easy, actually. At least as Reinhardt. I would definitely struggle against them as Dankey Kang. I am just not cut out for the hard dive lifestyle. I prefer Ball because Super Sanic speed is easier to play…

Tank is certainly not a chill role so that take is dumb. But I think the reason it’s not chill might be a hot take in that tank has a lot more agency than people think. Being the role with the most stats means it’s very powerful and has the most carry potential but I think that’s why people dislike it. Often times when I lose on tank I can’t really blame anyone but myself. Yes the tank is still dependent on good dps and supports but I still think the tank role has the most responsibility. And that will naturally be very stressful for many. I tend to only play tank when I’m in a super sweaty mood

This is my point. Tank is the most stressful and sweaty role.
Tank has a lot of impact, but it’s not like the other roles are cosmetic either. People can underperform on DPS or support and just blame the tank. It’s very easy to make playing tank miserable because everyone counters the tank. And God forbid that you just want a chill game because even in QuickPlay people will make the tank’s life miserable.
Honestly, I’m actually getting tired of it. And after 8 years of being a tank main, I’m seriously considering just dropping the role and moving to support full time. If they over nerf D.Va in the mid-season patch, it might just push me over the edge to abandoning tank. Because my favorite tank apparently isn’t allowed to be good and even when she is good it’s still incredibly frustrating because you can’t even play one match without 5 people swapping to counter you.

Tank is far more chill than dps right now. DPS are cosmetic and none of them come close to tank power levels. All dps are mid right now besides Venture/ Sombra and get ran over by tanks
Support is chill too, with broken utility/ ultimate’s and diffing a support is easy as hell, most of them are ai

I’m chillin’ on tank dropping 20k damage a game running through kids.
Where on a DPS like Cassidy you have no range and get ran on by broken tanks with a flashbang that doesn’t even CC. I got more range on Mauga and it’s easier to make space with Mauga than Cass as well.
that’s cos playing mauga in gold is easy everyone only knows how to shoot you and not your supports
