Picked the role back up after a break and some time to learn Mercy, and I feel more prepared to stick with it this time. It’s still kinda exhausting, having four other players to look out for, but it’s also pretty fun.

yerp, key is enjoying it gl gonig forward. make sure to play all the tanks because 6v6 is making a return at some point, not properly but at least in some form.

All of them? Ugh. I really don’t like Mauga, like at all.
I really tried to get back into tanking, as I did tons of it in OW1. But it feels like playing support without the ability to save myself or my teammates.
Until dps learn how to actually play AS A TEAM (follow your tank + peel for supports), tanking will be a horrible gameplay experience. Unfortunately Blizz has been redesigning dps heroes for “individual impact”, which means the exact opposite of playing with your team.
For people in charge of a team base game, they really are kinda clueless.
It’s mostly just Antinade, Hack and Storm Arrows, though.
I don’t really mean enemy abilities though. I’m talking about dps teammates not doing their jobs because they somehow think their job is only clicking heads.

Moderation is key. I’ve gone back to uninstalling Sunday afternoon/evening and installing next Saturday afternoon/evening.
I did try switching DPS for a few days at a time between tanking sessions, but after they giga-buffed tanks that became a real chore. So now removing the game so I don’t play it during the week has made the weekend session(s) a little more tolerable.
Although, last weekend I didn’t even break 20 games before uninstalling again. I did kind of like the new RQ MH mode though, although a couple of tanks that just won’t die (dva and queen mostly), sombra, widow and pharah do kind of ruin it as well as allowing duplicate heroes.
You honestly find Hack more oppressive to Tank play than Discord, Mei Wall, and Pharah?

I think Mei wall is tricky but fair.
Pharah, isn’t much of an issue, and the she is, then just remove 25hp
And Discord already got it’s big nerf.
So yeah, I really do think Hack, StormArrows and AntiNade are at the top of the list.
You didn’t answer the second question btw, was that intentional?
