Tank role is insufferable; how I'm coping with it

The way I cope with playing tank is to lock in Reinhardt, swing my hammer and charge all game, use verry little shield. I role queue all roles, but I only get tank role, the most boring and fustrating role in the game (why even have option to queue for all roles at once?). I’m having more fun just charging the enemy backline and getting a kill or two and then dying. Until they fix tank role queue, I’m just going to have fun as Reinhardt :). How do you cope with playing tank role queue?

Absolute Giga Chad.

I know you are. Anyone who has tried it understands. The beta on DPS and support will pretend you are throwing. No! It’s called taking space.

Listen to Pink Floyd and make them Comfortably Numb before you pin them into Another Brick in the Wall.

but then i dont get the bonuses and i dont get to charge as reinhardt all game.

This boring game gives me support if I queue all roles. I do not want to play that garbagio. I still do it for the bonuses because that means you have to play less of the game to finish the Battle Pass.

insta-lock wrecking ball and troll the enemy team so hard that they all counterswap me so i can play pretty passively while my team decimates whoever is trying to tunnel vision chase me from across the map

You’re pretty close, but the real trick is this: Don’t carry. No matter what happens, do not carry your bad teammates. Let them stand there AFK staring at you half the match instead. They are like NPCs and if you go off script like this they don’t know how to react.

thats why i play open queue; if being forced into solo tanking wasnt as miserable on there i wouldnt be as angy

  • Queues for all roles

  • Gets games for the fastest queued role

  • “why does this happen”

  • Charges and swings hammer all game, gets some enjoyment out of it

  • Loses match (maybe a win if I’m ultra ultra aggressive)

  • Queues again in less than 5 seconds

  • Rinse and repeat

i saw a 0 dmg zenyatta the other day that just sat on high ground from sym tp throwing discord and healing orbs and emoting

i just encountered a zen that got a potg ceuase the system is broken i wish they didnt give some supports such overpowered kits likw hen im playing support i play mercy which i only help teammates wheile kiri i will only damage if its safe to

tfw reaper gets a quad multi kill with ultimate but lucio booped one guy off the map and punched another and got potg

i was tracer and got a triple while the zen didnt even do that well and got potg like geting 3 people with pulse bomb takes perfect timing and precision without a zarya on your team…that honestly sets me off
