Tank passives are so meh right now

50% boop reduction, -25% headshot damage AND less ult take gained from healing/doing damage to. It’s too much on some tanks and boring way to balance the game.

Like, sure on a hero like Rein this is fine with there being so much mobility, CC and having to take damage to deal damage. It all makes sense.

Then you look at a hero like Sigma… does he need any of this? No his kit deny’s a ton of damage and all you doing is buffing a weakness he doesn’t have.

Again, a hero like Orisa… oh head shot reduction with a hero that can remove all headshot damage and has a ton of armor… it’s not needed.

Either way, the point… each tank should have it’s own set of passives based on what they need rather than buffing some tanks that don’t need it.

At this point tank buffs are probably there just to convince players that tanks are not weak and frustrating. The day queuing for any role stops defaulting to tank, actual balance can be looked at.

I think way too many people focus on tierlisting, when the issue is “Tanks aren’t as Fun as they should be”.

Which would involve buffs, but it’s got more to do with mobility and lethality, than it does standing on glowing rectangles on the floor.

I honestly still get plenty of DPS games. I just came back today and half of them were DPS. By the way, whoever said XDefiant has weak aim assist is lying through their teeth. My poor Overwatch aim was in shambles upon my return. Did I take a warm up game as Reinhardt? No! I went straight to competitive as Widowmaker. Like a G.

We won. But not because of me. :joy:

the passives are cancer on dive tanks as well

1000% this. Peel doesn’t work for several heroes when you can’t even boop the diving tanks away.
