That’s the variant cover. Variant covers often don’t reflect the story - the variant cover for #4 had Iggy and Tracer standing together, which didn’t happen in the story.

I mean, I’ve pretty much lost all hope of any OW2 release this year.
Maybe BlizzCon will restore it.
But I’m prepared for the letdown.

I think its just an excuse to make nice artwork. I find the comics to be severely underwhelming. I was hoping for some big lore pieces, but it’s just the same story we knew about, just more in depth, and introducing characters we will most likely never see or hear about again.
I’m hopeful that the finale of the series will have something big and interesting, but I wouldn’t hold my breath. But on another note, Naeri is always lying and pretending to know things. The only person I would trust is Metro, since he’s the only leaker to get things right the past 2 years since Ashe. But even then, he’s been a bit sketchy lately.

Or because it’s riddled with themes and lore for a new hero? Y’all heard of the alleged Kanezaka Fox Girl? I’ve said it before I’ll say it again, I bet they’re going to announce a delay for OW2 (predictable because of the pandemic) while simultaneously releasing the new hero (due to Kanezaka, and the amount they’ve been posting/hyping about it, and the ‘correspondence’ post on Twitter on Jan 11th) y’all are so quick to get upset or annoyed with the devs for not getting what you want rather than just going with the flow and having fun. There’s no reason to be salty for waiting, good games take time, and if it’s really too much for you to wait, I’d suggest a different hobby in the meantime

You’re projecting a lot of emotions onto me, friend. I’m not upset at Corporation. I am resigned and sad.
For the record I also think they’ll release this fabled fox hero by way of apologizing for OW2’s incredibly late release date. It’s just sad that all this content needs to be held hostage in the first place.

Is it late though? I don’t see where they said it would be coming any specific time, just because they announced it was coming last year y’all think they HAVE to release it within a certain timeframe? And during a pandemic? I get being bummy but it’s unproductive and there’s literally no reason for it. I don’t see what you mean by content being held hostage? Unless you mean $40 for that rein skin

I’m obviously referring to all the promised pvp content and new events that have been scrapped because they’re working on overwatch 2. I don’t care about skins.
