In the middle of a comp match on Xbox One, I was kicked out of game for LC-202 then when I tried to reconnect, I got an error that read that it needed to sync data with overwatch. This promptly failed and gave me the option to try again or play offline. Tried closing and reopening the game to no avail. I’m unsure whether I have or will lose SR for this (so far appears no) and my partner playing in the same house on the same internet did not get disconnected or report any play issues. I needed to shut down my Xbox one and reopen the game. I was not able to rejoin my match. Why did this happen? How can I prevent it from happening again especially while I’m in comp?
You very likely were penalized for leaving a Competitive Match. Though by now the suspension will have expired.

It doesn’t appear that I lost SR (nor did I get any suspension) but 2 other people also disconnected during that same game. The issues continued all night but luckily I was smart enough to not queue for comp. it appears so far I’m okay today. What happened to the server yesterday?
