Just thinking of solutions. This would solve the victory pose and highlight intro issue. Her gun is reloaded with hard light directly from the palm of her prosthetic arm so a golden arm or hand would make sense.

Genji has shurikens come out of the back of his hand so he should have a golden hand.
But isn’t his a stockpile of ammo vs Sym who makes hers from hard light? I think I said that right. I think over all the entire arm would be a little much, but the hand would be perfect IMO.

But seriously, at least he has victory poses and highlight intros that show off his gold weapons. This would easily make it so Sym does as well.
If we wanna talk about equality, no, golden weapons are not equal, look at Ashe compared to Moira…

Sym should have a golden glove.
She makes turrets and teleporters out of it.

Sym/Torb should have golden turrets, too.
I mean, if you want but golden turrets only show up on Sym’s RIP victory pose and that’s my least favourite.
I am dead set against golden turrets for Symmetra because not only are you making them easier to spot, but the enemy will shoot them down so fast they can’t even acknowledge “oh crap we got a golden gun Sym.”
Her cybernetic arm needs to be golden. It is the simplest solution easily accessible to all Syms, and it would look so classy and cool on her skins. Also it’s ridiculous newborn babies Brig and Ashe get highly unnecessary golden gun updates, Doomfist gets knuckles and gauntlet, and Junkrat has a golden trigger but Symmetra has nothing.
Her cybernetic arm literally takes precedence over her weapon and it is literally 3/4 of her kit. Her cybernetic arm is on the same level as Hog’s hook - vital and necessary to the character.

Exactly. An easy fix without having to make all new intros just to show the actual gun.
I’m down for new Sym intros but this would be a quick and easy fix.

she deserves the same respect as everyone else. I mean I know the victory poses are glitching out bad right now but it would be so good to look and see your golden glove in the dance pose or when she’s reading.
I wish the Devs would acknowledge this.
The only way is to give it more exposure so that it gains more likes and stays relevant long enough that they do notice and hopefully comment on it. I appreciate everyone who already liked the post but the only way for Blizzard to really see it as something Sym mains want is if we get more support and push for it harder and louder.
