Why are so many Symmetra players upset about it?

To be fair, they are changing a lot more than just auto lock on.
People don’t usually like change, much less big changes.
The loss of the shield really takes away some of her survival ability.
Maybe they can make her run twice as fast as everyone else.
You kidding me bro? She will become more mobile than Tracer that way and way harder to kill…
It should be very easy to understand. They’re taking a hero and literally changing every single aspect of her. It’s very understandable as to why people are upset about this. But at the same time I’m so excited about this change and fully supportive of it.
Yeah that last line was a joke from before her last rework, when I suggested they buff her by making her 3 times as fast. Just imagine how funny that would be. 
I’m not a Sym main, per se, but she is among my top four heroes used. But I think these changes will make her more fun and versatile to play as!
I also think the new damage scaling will counter Bastion pretty hard, depending on how long the beam is. But let’s see.
