I’m really dissapointed that she’s only getting one very minor change.
I am asking that some more changes be added, just so we can see how they feel. Symm mains have been asking for these for a while.
15M Primary Fire
Primary Fires initial damage increased and/or faster charge.
Faster moving orbs
Faster TP deployed or at the very least let Symm herself use it quicker to escape and get in the backline
Reduced head hit box (it’s really huge)

it would, a certain aspect of this was fan service, if they did every change they wanted there would be a lot worse stuff coming from the people who only care about their gold games. from what i can tell it was pretty tame

At this point she doesn’t even qualify for the word niche… Let’s just say she’s a Lijang Tower character… Cuz thats literally her entire “niche”

Which is my point. This is a pro player experimental card, I do not understand why a character that only gets played on 1/2 points + used to get out of spawn faster is denied any meaningful changes x)
This exp card isn’t going live so I don’t get why we can’t have some cool changes
lijiang is her best map, but shes still strong on 2 points of nepal, kings is iffy because of third and mei is just better, illios, busan, basically any control that is typically rein favoured and a couple more here and there, she has a very strong niche carved out and thats what most heroes should be like
You’re missing the point. This isn’t going live, it’s for pro play. We will get to play it, yes but the card is based on pro play. Symmetra gets played on 1 map in pro play.
the meta has changed a lot since the last pro tourney, in korea brawl isnt even played. from what i can tell the top level of na dont like ball that much and rein is usually only played in the mirror even in eu
You can’t call a hero powerful & niche it’s one the other and she’s definitely isn’t powerful seeing as she only has a 1% pickrate in GM.
Honestly, I know it’s sad, but I wish that the suggestion of giving a debuff if you passed through the barrier actually happened 
Would have been quite the thing to watch.
If we’re going to make niche heroes then make them ALL niche. if not then no hero should be niche.

If you’re only allowed / supposed to main certain heroes but not others - that’s objectively a balance issue

She isnt more powerful than generalists in the 1-2 maps that are her ‘‘niche’’, and everywhere else she is a gimped damage dealing hero.
Not only that but her ‘’‘’‘’‘’‘’‘’‘’‘‘niche’’‘’‘’‘’‘’‘’‘’‘’ (read: gimmick) is nonconducting with the nature of the game for 99.9% of the playerbase. She needs a rework that removes team/construct TP and gives her BOTH the damage she needs AND the universally useful utility she needs.
