The version of her before the nerfs and she wasn’t even used in a comp. Does she even need the nerfs that will completely gut her on the current ptr? She’s not even a problem.

Plus never run Ana against it. Otherwise you lose like Titans.

She was never terribly strong in the pro scene. Her nerfs are aimed at appeasing the ladder.

Does anyone even need appeasing after the last beam nerf? Like that was honestly enough. You see her a lot less. Do they want her to be terrible or something?

you know that her dps increased by 40% after the bugfixes? You know that she’s being dominating ladder? I agree i would like some compensation buffs, but seriously, sym mains are becoming worse than mercy mains.
Also, one reason she’s not played in owl? Literally no player has much playtime on her and she’s a bit of an all or nothing so she’s too risky to play even if strong.
To be fair one buff i’d like to see is for her tp cd to be halved if self destructed, with the same rules as torb’s turret.
And mayb 8s cd on turrets.
But seriously, you have no idea how much stronger she got thanks to that bugfix. Or how 222 is making her stronger overall.

Not being played in OWL (Sym was pre nerf with 195 DPS I think) average pickrate across the ranks that keeps falling.

She’s taken a lot of flak over the past weeks. Whether justified or not, she is probably one of the most disliked heroes right now. Whenever she’s picked in my plat/diamond games, it triggers calls of “cancer”, “no skill hero” etc. She’s incredibly strong and unfun to fight against.
So to answer your question… apparently so. People still need appeasing.
We don’t know any stats other then that her dmg was increased by 40%… No one even played her before, and if they did pick her they certainly didn’t know how to play her…
Like 40% isn’t even a shocking number to me if her original dmg numbers were poor.

Meh – so weren’t a TON of other heroes.
There’s always going to be a limited amount of heroes played at the top level no matter what Blizzard does. Doesn’t mean they aren’t unplayable for most of us.
So is Bastion, and he was played a lot.
she is a good pick for the meta
it’s just that, for the grand finals, the players play the best picks and reaper, mei, doomfist, and bastion are all better
